Hello everyone,

I have been following this forum for some time, and I would like to share my situation.
From the last week until today, I have been feeling some itching behind my nipple, and some pain during the night. I previously had a small gyno from puberty, but it was almost invisible and did not itched. From 1 year to now, I've began to take Dutasteride 0.5mg to hair loss, and also began working out seriously in the gym, gaining a good muscle mass and also losing some weight.

I have done some blood tests and Im Testosterone ~800points, E2 ~55points and prolactine 8points. The point is that, even though Im in a good shape and health, Dutasteride seems to be lowering my DHT to a point it cannot "protect" the glandular tissue from growing. Although my Testo is high, seems like it can be aromatizing more to E2 than to DHT. Combining this with losing weight and gaining pec mass, which helps to "project" the tissue.
I had a sports shirt that was pretty tight, and now it really marks my nips.

So, some days after I start feeling the itching, I started taking Tamoxifen 20mg to revert the newly grown tissue, as is mostly recent from the last year. The problem is that, I'm having a really bad bring fog. It really confuses my memory in some moments and Im on the 3rd day, Lol. So, Im thinking about lowering it to 10mg to help lowering the dizziness. Other point, I will lower dutasteride dose to one day yes, one day no, until I get a new medical receipt to lower a bit the dose, or switch to topical. I also may mark a consultation with my Sports Medic to take a look into the situation.

I hope as it is a newly growing gland, it may be reversed to the point it was ~1 year before, barely noticeable, by taking Tamoxifen and rising moderately my DHT. Please let me know if anyone had some similar experiences, or strategies for taking Tamoxifen.

Tamoxifen will not work once the glands are developed. Good that you on it early.

"Testosterone ~800points, E2 ~55points and prolactine 8points."

Did you get your SHBG tested also?

Thee numbers are similar to what happened to me.. as far as i been able to explain it...
Except my t level was up at 1500 and SHBG was in the 150s

Don't know which egg was before the chicken...
But basically something happened that messed me up the levels and created a loop SHBG absorbed all the T ... causing more SHBG
and then more T... their pairing and coldwar left E alone to have free rein. That was the initiation the down turn was that after the dust settled T .. never got back to normal levels it hovers on low end.

Thank you for your response

I have made a new blood test about 3 days after started taking Tamoxifen (now 10mg) and got the following results:

Testosterone: 1103 ng/dL

SHBG 67,50 nmol/L

Free Testosterone 16,66 ng/dL

E2: 43,8pg/ml

Prolactin: 15,9ng/ml

Testosterone and E2 are a bit higher, but that an expected effect of Tamoxifen, and Estrogen will not be absorbed by the tissue. However Prolactine is a bit high, and maybe due the antidepressant I take which lowers serotonin, an so, rises Prolactin.
Since I have started taking Tamoxifen, itching and pain really went down and are diminishing. However when pressing my nipple I can definitely feel a slightly larger tissue than I remember 1 year ago. Lets see how it will get in the future taking Tamoxifen and changing Dutasteride. Also, Im in a muscular mass gaining process, so lets see how it will look in the future. I lost some weight, but my chest still very full and marking on the shirt. I would say it is 95% muscle and expected to look full, lol.

JJ_Gyne, I reviewed your story and photos you posted, and we got a similar blood test results. Did you ever took Tamoxifen or any other kind of medication to stop growth, or that can cause Gyno, such as blood pressure, etc.?

Never on medications.. took Tamoxifen for a month. it didn't seem to do anything for me.

Best I could identify is that I got really sick before the pandemic ... it may have been covid before covid was public knowledge.
And it messed up my endocrine system.

Docs have not answers and i only have speculation and I guess I don't know either.
