Like the same thing I've been saying.
 Untill there's much public awareness regarding gynecomastia it will remain a quiet topic that imo really needs to be brought to the forthfront to let it be publicly known. Doesn't have to be accepted. But acknowledged. 
 But then wait. Then where this may lead?
 Then the transgender population will use it as a tool saying, oh I have gynecomastia. When in fact they had breast implants.lol.
 I would love to see public awareness for gynecomastia going more publisized to make things easier on those who suffer from it.
But I can see it going all over the place with how our society drifts topics so much overboard. Lol.

Same. I saw someone mention on a thread a bit ago regarding a new show on Netflix Best Medicine or something and how the first episode was about gynecomastia. I was excited to watch it. Just to find out while the way they developed and reaction by doctor was him seeing very visible development. The whole episode made gynecomastia seem like an absolute joke. Real, yes. Characters, just not great. It would have been nice to see it 1) visible in the show not the chest itself but perhaps inserts or something showing projection and 2) more serious portrayals by characters about it.

I’m the one that mentioned that show. I thought it was funny as hell because the woman was using estrogen cream and her husband grew boobs. And then a young man came in to the docs office and said he was growing boobs. Come to find out he was banging the estrogen cream lady. 
So someone like myself that has a huge hormonal imbalance and grew boobs, I thought it was funny. Pointing out what estrogen can do to a man. I have fully accepted the way I am and can see the humor in it.

I saw that episode too. 

Agree 50/50. That’s the way I saw it too. 

Not only did I have an Estrogen imbalance. But I had a Prolactinoma secreting on top of that. Got some big ones in a short time. 

It wasn’t estrogen cream from the wife.

It was good for a tv show I just felt if my wife saw the show she’d laugh at it more than understand it more and felt they could have made it more honest then doing what shows usually do and making the man out to look like a goofy up in arms idiot typecast. It’s a sitcom and comedic one so I got it. Just felt characters could have been more accommodating to an issue that’s never discussed. Great show though. Excited for season 2

A issue that’s never discussed?…hahahaha…it’s discussed all the time. How many times have you heard people on television or out and about make fun of man boobs? I hear it all the time.
Or even hard nipples on a man….this is why I wear slightly padded bras to turn down the headlights.😂….its all just fun and games. I like taxmappers attitude. Here they are… so what.
Wears polos….good for him👍… it’s getting so prevalent now I don’t think it matters anymore.
Why else would they even mention it on a tv show. People know some of us men have big boobs😄😂👍

It’s been on tv shows before. It was on greys anatomy like 10 years ago. Between that, some British show of body issues and best medicine my total hearing of it on tv in 40 years of life has been 3. 

I’m of the belief of here they are so what as well. I could care less. But the idea that it’s so common now to see it don’t matter anymore, I’d disagree. I’d say it’s more people generally hit an age where it just doesn’t matter anymore.
