In the first couple of days of December I went in to have my 'puffy nipples' fixed.

There are a few things that are bothering me.

1. I had to wear a pressure vest for 2 months after surgery.

2. I have big patches over my nipples, that are very noticeable that have to be worn for 6 months! (Is this normal?)

3. The results are, at the moment, not what I wanted.

My nipples were quite large, I went in to a very expensive surgery expecting them to end up like a normal males nipples, close the their chest. While they have improved some, they are still not 'normal' and puff out.

Am I being a little too pedantic about the issue? With the tape on you can't really see how big the nipples are however when I change the tape every 10 days they are still pretty puffy. I am 15 and want to partake in school swimming etc - obviously I can't do that for another 4 months yet!

What can I do about this?

By the way, it's been 2 months since surgery. Is is normal to see the nipples swell?

Would I be likely to get a refund or another surgery for free?

Do you have any pictures you could share?

i think a refund is probably unlikely, you never here of PS doing this. However a corrective procedure if this hasnt worked should be a possibilty. Ive never heard of the bandage thing before though sorry.

The tapes have to be changed every 6 months. I couldn't really get a good photo however you can see that the nipple is still elevated (with the tapes pushing it down).

Which part sticks out? The nipples? or the areola(the pink skin around the nipple)?

First of all I'm surprised that your PS agreed to operate on a 15 year old. It seems a little young, and I think most doctors would agree to give it some time to go away on its own.

Second, did you doctor do just lipo or was it excesion as well? Who was your doctor?

Give it time, dont expect to see final results before 3 months, blah, blah. (All the doctors say it)

We all want to look good without a shirt on, or even in a T-Shirt. Be realistic, mostly evreyone on this site was still far away from post-op at 15...

I agree with Allan. 15 is a bit young for surgery of this type.

Then again, Gynecomastia is a common family trait and I do not think of it as being abnormal in any way.

Embarassing, Yes; But not abnormal.

It was a long process to be get to the operation. It took over a year of doctor appointments and specialist appointments. They ran a few blood tests etc. I have had really puffy nipples since I was 11 or 12.

I didn't get any liposuction as far as I am aware. It was just an excesion I think.

It's been two full months and a bit. I had surgeory on the 2nd of Decemember and I doubt they will get much better.

Dr David Campbell was my surgeon.

My local GP said he was a very well known and respected surgeon, so we just went with his reccommendation. He did not give me any images though.

Two months is early to determine final results.

I know hearing that gets kinda old.  But I thought at 6 months post-op I was not going to get any better, but my doc hit me with a steroid injection and I was amazed at how much the swelling went down.

Anyways, good luck with your research and results.
