Vaio...

Yeah, I have a massager somewhere. Have to look for it though. I will try it out... Thanks for the suggestion :).

Looks good Bambu. Quick question how many weeks post op did you start massaging and how often in a day?

My left breast looks a little larger and is more tender than my right. More noticible towards the end of a day. I only take my compression vest off to shower at night for about 30minutes and back on. PS said to wear it another two weeks, and after that it wouldn't make a difference but I could keep on for comfort.

Thanks

Mark

I've decided not to massage the scar tissue. I'm not in a big hurry for it to dissolve. It'll eventually dissipate on its own anyhow... ;)

Cheers!

Week 7

The left side is looking great! However my right areola is puffed out and feels like there is something hard beneath the areola/nipple. I wonder if Doc Fielding didn't get all of the gland tissue. Maybe it's hard scar tissue. I don't know. Also the right nipple seems to be erect alot of the time ???. The right areola is bigger than the left and is puffed out a bit like I mentioned above.

I will ask JCF about my right puffy areola at my 12 week Post-Op exam. It's not a real biggie as it's not very noticeable but I would like the right areola to be like the left.... flat and small.

Your pics are looking good (i feel weird saying that to another man,  but u know what i mean)..

maybe it's just me, but your left areola appears a little sunken, not a big deal, but that could make your right one look like it's sticking out more than it actually is if your comparing them, just a thought

Yes, the left areola is a tad sunken. I would like the right areola to be the same. I'd rather them be a bit sunken than being puffy and sticking out :-/. Anyways, it looks odd in a tight fitting T-shirt having one areola a tad sunken and the other being puffed out. Annnddddd, the right nipple sticks out too. :-/  Just looks odd!

Just saw your April 9 pics...that 1 nipple will flatten.  It is puffed right where there is scar tissue.  That looks exactly like scar tissue.

Worst case scenario, is there is a tiny bit of gland left and Fielding will make some tiny incisions to cut the little bit out.  The incision would be about the size of the lipo incision.

Also, it's so minor, you can already take yer shirt off in public...you got no worries

nope1...

Yeah, I kinda figured it's scar tissue. Thanks for the reassurance Dude...

Yes, you are right. It is very minor and yes I could take my shirt off in public now but it looks odd with one areola being flat and the other puffed out. No biggie though....   8)

Bambu, I think you are just looking too hard. Everything looks fine now. I dont even see what you mean by suncken in areola, or the other nipple sticks out more than the other. Everything looks perfect to me.

Im 6weeks post op today, and I got that hard scar tissue under the areola. It doesnt make my areola stick out at all though. Its just painful if I press on it.

bambu,

You skipped alot of time in your story, just wondering when you started to see improvment around your areola?

I am four weeks post op and am having those tingling shooting pains and both my areola seem to be puffed out. I also just have a low level pain or awarness of my areola.  Did you have this?

I had a follow up appointment today, Dr. said everything looks right on track. I belive him but i guess i just feel a little freeked that i wont be as flat as i hoped.  I think there is still swelling behind my areola since that was were most of the trauma was.

Thanks

To what exactly are you referring? The puffiness?

If you mean numbness in the areola.... Yes, it took quite a while for full feeling to return to the areolas.

Yeah, 4 weeks is still a tad early to pass judgement. Give it another 8 weeks Dude...

Have you posted recent pics?

John,

what I really am hoping to find out is, was the swelling around the areola kind of the last to go away?
I realize i need to be patient, but i just am trying to anticipate my final results.

Check out updated pictures  http://www.gynecomastia.org/cgi-bin/gyne_yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=1;action=display;num=1131459514

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Yes, the incision around the areola was the last to heal, visually.

You are looking great! Results are awesome! So.... how does it feel to be Gyne free?

John.
