8.5

I feel that JCF could have lippoed a bit more. However, surgery conditions may have limited his judgement on how much to remove. Also, my LHS is a tad concave. I'm not worried about it, but it would have been nice for the LHS look the same as the RHS.

Still..... I think that Dr. Fielding did an awesome job! Thank you JCF!

  • My battle with gynecomastia has begun.
Hi, John.  Nice results!

In looking at your pictures, I was in awe over how well your skin bounced back from the surgery.  In one of the pix (the Nov. 2004 pushup), you have much movement and elasticity (from what I could see).  That's been one of the concerns with my own situation, since I have a minimum of a one-liter in my chest and I'm a bit flabby.

Did you notice any major problems with the skin?  Did it 'bounce back' as well as you'd hoped?  Also, the PS I'm leaning towards was very adamant that I'm an excellent candidate for liposuction only, no excision.  Do you think THAT would make a difference with the skin readjusting?

Again, nice results!

Warlord....

No, I did not experience any skin problems.

Yes, my skin adjusted to its new shape just as I had hoped. I had read (pre-op) that in most cases, the skin will very easily conform to the chests new shape.

In regard to a Lipo 'only' procedure, I have read a few posts stating that Lipo only surgeries did not render satisfactory results. I have seen Before and After pics of Lipo only procedures and it was clear that further work was required.

Before committing to this 'Lipo only' PS, make sure you do your homework on the Lipo only procedure dude. Seek out others who have had the same and ask how they feel about their results. Also, ask if a second surgery was required.

John.

I think I'm going to get surgery with Dr Jacobs in New york sometime this year. When i had my consultation he said he will try just lipo first, and then if that doesn't work (if the gland tissue is too hard) then he will decide mid surgery to do excision.

I seem to be reading that most people are not happy with lipo alone and I don't want ot go through all this and not be happy in the end. Should I insist on him doing excision also? Has anyone had Dr. Jacobs do lipo only and be happy?

Thanks

Have'nt choose surgeon yet... cannot decide between Private Surgeon or just Hospital (would have better equipment I guess...)

I am going to see another different specialist for a consultation then I might have a better clue weather to go with private surgeon or hospital field doctors...

Yeah, the right areola/nipple got a tad swollen and had some ST.

My ST really freaked me out though. My entire chest went hard as a rock. One of the guys here (thankfully!) told me that is was a normal part of healing. ;)

Congrats on your surgery dude! Don't worry about ST, there is no pain/discomfort. It just feels weird to the touch.

thanks for the journal Bambu! very useful for many peeps!
quick question: do you think the concave nipple is due to scar tisue binding the nipple to the muscle? (if so, there must be a chance for it to eventually disconnect?)

thanks!!
