Just as a side note:

In the 'front view' shots of my 'After' pics, you can see bulging at the sides of the chest. This is partly due to swelling, but as I had alot of fatty tissue there to begin with, even when the selling goes down, it will look similar to what it does now. I don't think that Dr. Fielding Lipoed enough for my liking. I will have to discuss this with him tomorrow during the follow-up exam. Who knows? JCF may have to give'er another shot of Lipo. Or, possibly, it will disappear as I continue with my weight loss. I need to get back to the Gym. Hoping JCF gives the 'go-ahead' tomorrow.

Just noticed, the right nipple/areola is a tad higher than the left. Hmmmm.... :-/
Oh well, like I was preaching to someone else recently, not all things are equal. ::)

Bambu, you're making progress.

As far as the areola being higher on one side, maybe you're right, but you really have to look at it to notice. If you're just walking around with your shirt off, nobody will notice. It's slightly higher if anything, no big deal.

I wouldn't go thinking about 2nd surgeries yet.  Although, i'd be interested in hearing what he says at the follow-up.

No. Definitely not at this stage of the game. My chest has much healing to do in the months ahead. I will wait out the year that JCF has suggested for full recovery. Will take another look at it at that time.

Sure, will let you know what he has to say about my progess so far.

If it's fluid it can be drained very easilly.  You can tell if it's fluid because you can actually hear it when you push the skin.   WAY too early to start in the gym, look at how bruised you are.

Considering your build and previous condition he did a good job

Yes, there is fluid on both sides as, like you mention, when I press on the skin I can hear some fluid moving about.

Well I am hoping that JCF will approve walking/hill climbing on the treadmill. Can't see how that would hinder things.

Yes, agreed! Dr. Fielding did a great job. Looking 'normal' under a T-shirt now :D ;D :D, which is all I ever wanted in the first place. Being able to go shirtless would be just icing on the cake.

No need to feel embarrassed here Dude! Besides, no one knows your real name and you don't need to include your face in the pics. Total anonymity ;).

If you want the surgery....Go for it! You will not regret it.

What's that like Bambu? It's been 20 years since I've looked normal under a t-shirt. ???

  • Gyne free, is the way to be!
Bambu, the fluid you are talking about, does it have to be drained out? Would it be harmful if it stays there and absorbs back on its own? My doctor said he doesn't like using the drains because it leaves another scar. He said the drains don't prevent hematomas. He said if I need drainage afterwards he would do it with an needle.

Not sure what the proceedure is. I have a Post-Op follow-up exam today at 2:50pm. I'll ask about the fluid build up. Will let you know what JCF plans to do about it.

Had my follow-up today. The Doc said the right side does have some fluid build-up and that it will be absorbed into the body.
