lipo scars
I am having lipo only in 3 weeks (I already had excision last  year), and I'm wondering how bad the scars from lipo are?  How long until they look okay?  How long until they're gone?

The scars from lipo near my armpits are still there, but they aren't noticeable at all. The scars below my nips from the lipo are gone...took about a year or so to disappear.

Here is a pic of one of my Lipo scars. The pic is 17 days Post-Op...
Not much of a scar at all IMO ;).

Well the actual healing process would only be a few weeks, but for the scar to actually fade away would probably take a year or more...

Scars on the surface are only part of the issue.  There are internal scars that can be a problem, that is why technique and scar care are important factors. When overresection is done, the skin can adhere to the muscle underneath.  You can see examples of the crater deformities from other doctors here and here.

Scars can depend on the problem, surgical technique, after care, scar care, and other factors.  Scars on my website of my sculpture are typical for my patients.  Your concerns are better directed to your own surgeon.

They are scars, they won't go away. However done right they should be very small.  Stay out of the sun.  The surgeons technique and your ability to heal will probalby best determine how "long" you have your scars.
