Please give me your opinions.  I'm 28 years old.  I've been taking propecia for 8 years.  I'm out of shape, but concerned that I've developed breast tissue as a side effect of propecia.  Thanks in advance for the comments.

like he said, possible but unless you can feel a disk or something obvious it could be a soft form, and then you won't be able to know for sure without losing the weight and seeing what you're left with.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

Yeah, looks like just carrying a few extra pounds.  Not much though, you seem like a big build guy anyway.  10-15 pounds will probably do wonders.  The contour is fine - that's the telltale sign - you don't have the conical shape cause by gland.

It kills me.  You got guys here (not in this thread necessarily) that weigh a buck thirty with 6% BF, calling guys like you fat or out-of-shape.  Meanwhile, your bicep is bigger than their waist.  Personally, I'd take a few extra pounds.  The chicks prefer it, I am sure of that.

concerned, no need for concern.
All you need is a three letter word..GYM.
You look just fine to me I see no sign of gyne what so ever.
cheers  ;D

Well, propecia is known to cause breast growth in men but in less than 1%.  Check with your GP first to rule that out.  And don't take the advice to go OFF the propecia!

Thanks everyone for the responses.  At the advice of my PCP, I've stopped Propecia - not only because of possible gyno, but all the other possible side effects.  I'm going to shave my head from now on and I'm starting to Diet and Exercise Hard.  To the person who thought I was a big frame guy...  so you know I'm 6'5" and 225 lbs, 36 inch waist.  I used to work out a lot in college, so I'm hoping in 6 months to be back to about 210 lbs and 34 inch waist.

Thanks again guys and I'll post up progress pics along the way.  I sure hope that toning up will decrease the breast fat.

As promised, here is a progress pic of my diet and exercise results so far.  I've lost 12 pounds so far in less than 2 months!  I'm now 212 lbs, 17% body fat.

What do you guys think of the breast tissue now?

I'm going to stick to my diet and exercise plan.  My goal is to get to around 200 lbs, 12% body fat.

Thanks again for all the advise and comments!

in your current state, with the pic you posted... if i saw you at the beach or at a pool--even knowing what gyne is and seeing 300000 pictures of mild to severe--it wouldn't even cross me mind that you had it.

but ultimately it's up to you, and how you feel, but i think you look like a "normal" guy who works out.
