I just finally worked up the courage to set up a consultation with Dr. Baron in Toledo, Ohio.  We went through all the steps and set up a second consultation as well.

However, the price is through the roof at $8500.  $5500 in procedure fees (excision and VASER liposelection, a new technology) and $3100 for operating room, anesthesia, supplies, surgical nurse, recovery/overnight, and therapeutic services.

I've never seen a price so high and my condition is an average one....not severe, not moderate.

He is one of the best PS's around ....has interstate and international clients and provided with me a plethora of before and after pictures that looked excellent.

What do you think?

hi...i'm still considering the surgery, but at the end of august 08. 

has anyone seen a price this high? 

he claims that the pricing is so high because he uses the "vaser" technology as part of the procedure.

I don't know...my operating room, nurse anethesiologist whatever was like $1500.  Surgery was $2900 or something, which includes 2 vests and follow ups.

But not over night hospital stay which is $600.

$8K seems very expensive.
