No Drains and he said that their was no fliud buld up..........

crow,
Have you considered getting another doc's opinion?  You say that you have some puffiness behind your areola.  That can only mean that it is fluid or tissue, one or the other.  I can't say whether it will go down or not, but your doc didn't use drains, so who is to say that it isn't fluid buildup which is sometimes common?  If it is tissue, then that is even worse.  I'd seek another opinion.

Hi Crow. See my surgeon told me the body has the ability to drain itself over time from any fluid that it may have. For example when someone has lipo they actually inject the area afterwards with a solution to mimick the fat to prevent shock. This gets obsorb over time. But does this apply for the nipples as well?

Thanks for the info, and I wonder also if it drains dehide the areaola in time or if it even builds up at all?

I still have SLIGHT puffiness as well, one year post-op.  Honestly, I think its a result of the nipple skin being so stretched out for so long.  Even with the puffiness, my chest looks 100x better.

This is posible but then I guess the PS should of told me this............You say yours are 1oo% better that is good but how puffy are they? You say slight, do u have photos are they big areolas?

Your nipples will puff out because they are SWOLLEN.  Swelling goes away in 3 to 6 months.

Same happens to almost everyone who undergoes liposuction in that area.

When i pinch an inch of loose skin on my chest  an inch above nipples my nipples look so much better,  Could it be that u have loose skin and u need some chest tightening ?

Steriods might help if there's swelling.  The steriod injections will reduce that - but mostly its time.

Thanks to all for the replies........I just went in for a OP so been off the computer since my last post....

jeff138,I would like to know more about steriods and how it is done.........
