6 weeks - can I stop wearing the vest?

Hey all... I posted this in the "user photos" section too, but it kinda made sense to post it here as well, so here goes... I'd appreciate any comments you may have!

I'm just over 6 weeks post-op now! Here are some pics of me before the operation, 1 week after, and one month after:

As you can see theres a big change, but still some bruising around the nipples and swelling on the left side. The doctor said I can stop wearing the vest now that 6 weeks is over, but do you think continuing to wear it will reduce the left side swelling faster? Or will the swelling go down now regardless of whether I wear it? I've been wearing it all the time for the last 6 weeks, and i'll keep wearing it if I have to, but it is kinda uncomfortable as you know, and I've been seeing a lot of this girl lately, and it would suck wearing it around her, if you get me.

your doctor (as does mine) says 6 weeks and you're done.  lose the vest.  i have it marked on my calendar

sounds good, theres still swelling (especially on the left side) although 6 weeks are up... will wearing a vest make any difference at this point?

hmm....i would call ur ps, cuz if theres swelling still - like a lot, then maybe it wouldnt hurt to wear it...but if its only a little, who knows...i still have some swelling, but mostly just hard scar tissue spots, so when the 6 weeks post op comes, the vest goes.

Well, I am now 10 week and I still have some swelling near nipple. Else, all ok.
