Ive never heard of someone having gyne on the right side of their breast only. I have it on the left nipple and I know others may have it on both. Is it rarer to have it on the right side?

Hello there!  Just trying to find out more info on this and wondered what your outcome is.  I think we got a similar situation.  I have had this now for 6 years and with 2 operations, i am still not cured.  My situation is on the left side breast and as been painfull the last few days and has grown considerably in 2 days.  I have nopw contacted my doctor again who as referred me to a speacialist.

Please comment on the above or let me know if you have an update regarding your own situation?

Shep,

Have you had your hormones checked out by an Endocrinologist?  If you are getting re-growth then that would definitely be the course of action to take.  An important point to note is to find an Endo who specialises in reproductive systems, preferably with a good knowledge of gynecomastia.

There is a chap on here called Hypo-is-here who is very knowledgeable on the subject and if you let him know what country and state you live in he can even give you some names of appropriately experienced Endos.  If Hypo doesn’t pick this thread up then I suggest you send him a Private Message (PM).

By the way, the Plastic Surgeon who operated on me said it was very common to have growth only on one side.

All the best.
