Hi, i had puffy nipples and th surgeon said alot was taken out. I also had lipo done, he make pretty big circles with the felt tip so i assume he took a lot out. I actually asked the next day but cant remember the exact amount. I didnt have big breasts like drooping and pendulous etc. Just puffy nips and a bit of fat. But as soon as i looked at my chest it was no differant at all. It was quite shocking as people say they see great results straight after surgery where their chests are flat and gives an idea of how it'll look after the swelling goes down. But everyone has differant bodies that react differantly to surgery. My chest as of right now it theres a definate notice of flatness regarding the fat evn though some slight uneveness of the distribution. My nipples are constantly erect which is brilliant but underneath i can feel alot of hardness, much similar to the actual gland that was there before. I presume its scarring because the gland resulted in constan puffyness, my nips are erect on a 24 hour basis so it differant from gland hardness. Also my left nipple it tight on the top half but slightly puffy on the bottom half, dunno what to make of that but trusting that its just swelling that is the culprit.

I think if my nips were hard all of the time, I could almost live with this shiot.  I hope that happens to me.  It is when they are soft that makes me want to puke.

WOW!! How is that possible? Does it just look like swelling?  Like your skin is filled with fluid?  I can't imagine looking down and seeing no change.  My PS told me that they replace every ounce of fat that they take out with fluid during the process, so your body doesn't get shocked or dehydrated.  But I would assumed that the fluid would settle pretty fast or come out in the drains. Maybe not. What type of lipo did they do on you?  I am getter Vaser lipo.  I don't know much about it, but I have read that it reduces the swelling and healing time.  Probably just marketing speak.

The doctor swears that it's normal, and what you say makes sense since basically they look like a couple of sacks filled with fluid. The consistency is totally different than what it was before.

I'm not sure what type of Lipo was done, but I don't have drains, so I imagine that the fluid will eventually go away and that I'll get to where I want it to be.

That is a good question though: Where is the fluid going to go? There is a LOT of fluid...is it just going to disperse into my body some how?

Weird.

I can't see much of a difference, but I don't think that is a big deal yet.  It looks like you are no longer black and blue, so I bet you don't think you are still swollen.    You had a decend amount of fat or tissue in there.  Your body has funny ways of dealing with trauma. For instance, I went into surgery and had them go to town on my chest, stomach, and flanks. The PS told my wife he got 10 pounds of crap out of me.  How is it that I woke up 7 pounds heavier than before surgery.  They say your body will saturate the cavity/void created by the surgery with fliud.  Even if it doesn't feel like fluid it is probably very superfitial weight.  I start low carbing on Monday, and no-lie I am down 12 pound in 2 1/2 days.  No cardio.  I think my body just kicked some fluid.  Your body will too.   Read these posts, and you will find that you are the norm.

I have heard some of these guys say it takes months. I know that sucks, because that will take you through the summer.  However, there is not much you can do before a few months passes.  Do you sill where the pressure garmet?  I took mine off last night and I look a lot better this morning.  Be patient, if in 3 months it doesn't look a lot better, then go nuts.  You have to think, your PS took something out of you when you were on that table.  You woke up with incisions and bruising.  So it has to get smaller at some point.

Well i have calmed a bit down, when i  pinch my breasts there is a different feel to them. Before there was a "fattier" feel to them, the same feel to it as regular fat around my body. Now there is less to pinch, now when i pinch the extended part of my breasts there is a mass! Unlike before..

I believe this to be real breast tissue...that was covered by the fat...
