Insurance...

I read somewhere that insurance has to cover surgery if one breast is larger than the other.  Is this true. If not, should I even bother trying to get the surgery covered?
Also, my surgery quote was 3500 but I also have to get the removed tissue checked out which cost about 1000...do i have to/should i get this done and also, wouldn't insurance pay for that atleast because it is checking for something medically wrond with me...thanks

Dude, that should be your choice to have the removed tissue examined. Who told you that you 'have' to have the testing done?

In missouri (and I imagine everywhere now) its a state law that any breast tissue removed must be examined for cancer (at least that is what 3 separate surgeons have told me).
