 i was plannign on getting a tattoo this upcoming thursday. you know how they have to heal for a certain amount of time.. would that effect the surgery at all if i got it a week or 2 prior to the surgery?

As long as you don't do something dumb and get the tattoo on your chest or at the incision point for the cannula or excision, i'd think you'd be ok.  Good question for a dr.

Ditto on what JC said, as long as you don't get the Tat on your chest near an excision point...  ;)

BTW Dude, what sort of Tat are you thinking of gett'n?
