One question, I've read here that tape give scarring, does even the Scotch tape do that? It comes of very gently and doesn't seem to do any harm.

I'll try getting the micropore, I hope it's a little less irritative though, but I don't feel it much anyway.

And one more thing...

If you continuously wear this tape, can it permenently depress the nipple a bit like after a year of wearing it, even wearing it when you sleep and all through the day.

This tape really boosted my confidence more, though I don't have that bad a problem in the first place, but I just don't like how it looks under white and silk shirts.

Thanks!

I bought the micropore tape, it is less irritative, I even forget that it is on, but the only thing is, it is harder to pull off, and I really don't want to scar myself.

I'll try the micropore a few more times but I think maybe the Transparent tape may be better in terms of preventing scaring, cause it comes off rather easily.

I'll also try some water when taking off the micropore.

I won't be dependant on the tape but may try it out at school for a while.

I don't think my gyno is that bad because no one, has ever noticed it even at the beach or swimming, but I still don't fell comfortable annd I do fell the gland below the nipple, so I know that I have it.

It's just that my bodyfat % is so low, aroud 3% bf and I weight lift so my muscle overwhelms the unsightly gyno the I alone seem to notice a bit.

Thanks

how does micropore tape cause scars? i had a hernia operation and had micropore tape on my stomach for about a month (redressing every 2 days), and found it just peeled off nicely, no scaring or harm.

got some 50mm micropore tape and put them on my nipples and looked awesome with a tight t-shirt on, but only did it once.

any feed back of guys having problems with micropore tape? because if no problems i think it would make a big difference in my life

if the tape is taken off slowly not ripped off i can't see the problem in wearing it. It should never permanently scar??? maybe leave a mark but that wont last long and don't wear it 24/7 i used to wear it a lot as it does so much for the confidence being able to wear tight shirts, plus you can fool people into thinking you don't have gyne, just don't forget you're wearing it when entertaining a lady friend it could lead to a very awkward situation 8)

Hey guys,

I've been hiding my nipples with one of the following three ways depending on the circumstance.

On a day to day basis I wear tshirts with logos/designs branded across the chest (or whole shirt). The heavier the branding the better the concealment.

I also try and buy button up shirts with a chest pocket on both sides. (e.g. http://www.bobwards.com/bobwards/servlet/itemimage/Medium/82637-11)

If I found a shirt I really like that doesn't do the trick itself I will buy 3M/nexcare round bandages and put one on each nipple. They peel off really easily, stay on through sweat and even the shower sometimes.

I only wear bandages when I don't plan or expect that I might 'get lucky' (e.g. nightclub) as you can imagine the awkwardness of a girl seeing bandages on your nipples. I've had incidents when I was wearing bandages and had the opportunity for some fun. Without fail (except once) the girl either excused herself or I and was able to to remove them and dispose of them (takes a total of 3 seconds).

The one time I didn't have an opportunity the girl asked what that was (and was laughing in a kind way) I told her it's to protect against runner's nipples (look it up if you don't know what it is). She actually was attracted to me more knowing that I was a 'runner' even though this was a white lie.

When I wear dress shirts I use a tight tanktop (buy 1 size smaller than you normally wear; I buy the 3-pack of hanes from walmart), tanktops are good for summertime as they also add another layer so sweat doesn't show up easily on your shirt. If I'm wearing a thicker dress shirt I will use the bandage technique as I don't like the lines of a tanktop.

Finally, as I'm always self conscious I find myself 'tweaking' my nipples quite often. One very quick squeeze  usually keeps them hard for 1-3 minutes. I do this quite often and more than enough times in public. Very rarely do people even notice. The times they do I use other white lies (e.g. "It's a nervous habit like people who bite their nails... I really don't know why I do it.").

Hope this helps other guys like me. I've been using these techniques for about 8 years now. Still contemplating nipple surgery but just do not have the funds for it.

You'll think this is weird, but if you use a black eye pencil and color your nipples in black, you can darken them and they look way better when they're not pink, it gives a feeling from the front as if they're not puffy at all. If you look at them from the sides, of course, you would notice it, but it helps a ton from the front, for me anyways.

Also, i'd like to say that if your nipples are located at the buttom of your chest and not in the middle (everyone has their own body, different for everyone), working out on the chest DOES help, in opposed to what everyone says. It helped me greatly, when i stand my chest out, it is barely noticeable, because half of the nipples are hidden just as the curve of the chest muslces start.

I had a surgery myself too, not that successful, areola lost 50% of its puffyness but there is still some. I can live with it though, its not that bad, i'm just sad that I spent so much money just to get 50% of my dream.

i recently started using micropore and found it very effective throughout the day.
But as i started using it frequently for prolonged hours (like 10-12 hours straight),
it caused red liaisons that take the shape of the tapes border.

I would recommend wearing them for few (like 4-5 max) hours. Also, make sure that
you are not over stretching your nipple+chest to make your chest look more flatter;
because if its too tight, the tape tends to wrinkle at its ends and it freakin hurts
when it rubs against your skin. I have peeled a small amount of skin due to this, so
guys watch out (though the damage is temporary).

Hey guys, first time here and posting.

I am a DJ, and I often have pics taken of me, or on stage performing. The things that work very well for me, is, i'll start with tape(Duct tape, or strong painters Tape, Never thought of the medical tape), and tape my nips down. Then grab a small undershirt(wife beater, tank top, same sorta thing), and put that on. I have a back brace, that i took out all the back stuff(magnets, holders, that sorta crap) so its just a band with velcrow on it, and wrap that around my tummy, and the undershirt. Then pull down the undershirt so it compresses it more. Then put on another undershirt, followed by 2 T-Shirts(all too small, so its tight), then put my pants on, and pull them up to about my belly button. Sinch on a belt tight, to try and keep it all from slipping, then my shirt, and then a hoodie. I would put all this on in hot weather as well, i would rather sweat and be made fun of it, then being made fun of for having boobs. Most of the time for pics, and on stage, ill have a towel drapped over my shoulders, and a big bandana over my face so try and comoflauge it more.

I hate it. Does anyone know if those supressor shirts ever stretch out? or do they stay tight? Could i wear it, without all this other crap^^, and just a t-shirt?

Thanks alot guys.

You should just get one of the compression shirts at http://www.underworks.com/998.html .  They are really tight (even a bit hard to put on at times) so they don't really lose their compression, and you could just wear the compression shirt then a t-shirt.
