Scarring and Vitamin E Oil

Hey guys. I'm 5 weeks post-op and my Dr says I'm ready to use something for scarring since the wound has healed. Question, what have you guys used for scarring. My Dr said I could use vitamin E oil or Scarfade which he sells at his office. What do you guys think?? I already have been applying the vitamin e oil but some people say it does nothing. I am not sure. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Nobody has used anything for scarring!! That's hard to believe!! What about the vitamin E oil my PS suggested.
