Hurry .... I finally had my surgery on 18th April.
Everything went very well and Iam very very happy with the results so far.... 

I had both gland excision and liposuction.


Surgeon Name: DR. Ramachandran
Hospital         : Apollo Hospital
City              : Chennai, INDIA.


This is how the surgery went:
- I reached chennai on 17th for pre surgery consultation.
  Anesthesian checked me and declared fit for surgery.
 
- Surgery was at 7Am the next day (18th).
  I reached hospital at 6am and went to admission section for registration.
  My father accompanied me for surgery.
 
- I was asked to remove all the clothing and wear a surgery garment.
  Then was led to operation theater.

- Docter was waiting for me along with anesthesian.

- Surgery was done under general anesthesia. Surgery went for around 2 hours.

- When I gain consiousness, I was in recovery room.
  Pain was very very minimal and very much bearable (Infact I can say there is no pain at all
  but just some discomfort.

- Doctor came to meet me in the evening and prescribed pain killers and antiboitics to be taken.
  I was discharged for hospital at around 6pm.

There was absolutely no swelling ....
I took a week off from work......

I have been silent member of this site for an year now and got very useful information.

Stiches removal is noting .... dont worry abt it ... I was laying down on bed and doc just cutted the stiches and sticked plasters around arola ....  no pain nothing........

I think they accept credit cards ... not sure though .. i used debit card.
Regarding lodging, there are many lodges nearby apollo hospital, AC double bed room is about
700RS ... I stayed in lodge for almost 10 days ...

I have contacted Dr.Ramachandran and he has agreed to perform the surgery on july 21/22.
His promtness in replying to mails is unbelievable.
I sent him photos and he has replied that its not a major case.
So then...some questions for you!!!
Was the general anaesthesia painful??
Is there an option for local anaesthesia with sedation??
I am pretty scared of general anesthesia!!
Where did you stay?
Was the surgery done at apollo hospital or at his private clinic?
How do you feel now??any pain or puffiness remaining??

General anesthesia is not at all painfull .... all i remember is doc putting needle on my hand ( It will b like injecting saline bottle and they introduce anesthesia into the blood stream)and in 5 secs my eye lids became heavy and I went asleep.....
Its just like taking an injection ..... do worry abt it.... the gr8 thing abt it is once u wakeup.... u are done with surgery and will not have any clue abt it ....
If u go for local anesthesia .. u will be wakeup during surgery and will b scared .......
Local anesthesia with sedation  is as good as general anesthesia ..........

I stay in B'lore .....
Surgery was done at apollo hospital ...... greems road.....
Just few hours of surgery , I stood up all my myself and went to toilet .... the next day I was walking on the streets with just slight discomfort ......

Now iam almost 2 months post-op ..... I started driving my bike just after 10 days of surgery ... everthing is normal ..... no pain at all ..... I just cant believe that I had surgery ..    .....

Go ahead and  get those fucking moobs removed and Njoy the rest of ur life ....

I have done enough analysis of surgeons and havent got much info abt docs in Bangalore ....
I was browsing ISAPS(International Society of Aesthetic Plastic surgeons) and got info abt MR.Ramachandran of Apollo, Chennai ..... After seeing his profile, I got to know that he is specialized in liposuction and Apollo chennai is one of the oldest and reputed hospital .... so I chose him......

No.... I havent checked my hormone count before surgery ..... I had gyne from of the age of 12...... and my doc also said there is no need to do hormone checkup.....

Yeah ... u will be completly naked and have to wear only a gown..... They wont fix any tube to ur penis  .....

One more thing..
When I asked the doc about drains!! he said that he will be using them!!
Why wasnt it used on you??
My gyne is not that severe...not even half yours!!!
So why does he want to use drains.
I will be going there with my dad...I dont want to have him collect all the yucky drains for me..and i dont wanna go around carrying bulbs of goo!!!

I dont know what they have done after i was unconsious .....  Before sedating me ... no tubes are attached to my mouth .......

Iam not quite sure about it .... he even said that he will use drains to me ..... even after surgery i asked him about them ... he said they are inside the bandage .....  I dont know whether he really ment it or he said just to make me feel comfortable ....... But one thing is sure ..... no drains are visible outside ......
