Common Recovery Period?

i was thinking whats the common/general or may be average recovery period for everyone here.

can you start doing after 10 days of surgery. just walking, driving, going to class seat there for 1:40 min and than go to library and study for 2hrs.. and go home relax

is this fine..

also when can you start running so you can loss some weight.

i have surgery on the 16th and i have summer college starting at 22nd.

any advise?

10 days of surgery you will be fine and you can do most of your work. driving without compression vest especially in the rough roads is painful.
