AlfaQ, IMHO, you have every reason and right to be wearing a bra. It's obvious you are able to naturally fill the cups of a regular bra. You get physical comfort and benefit from the support and containment that a bra provides the same as any woman your size. And that picture proves your need to be supported. The same as any woman. In my book that's not fetish. That's need.

And the material it's made of doesn't matter if it's providing physical comfort. And you look well supported and contained and comfortable.  Lace is known for its strength in support as well as the cool it provides. I practically live in lace bras in the summer for the cooling provided verses level of support. That's not fetish, that's practical. Women have had this stuff figured out for years. Why reinvent the wheel?

I agree.  That bra looks good on you. You belong in a bra as much as any woman does.

A year ago I  remember moving upto a 34C bra which was a surprise back then.  Today  out of curiosity I  revisited this bra and it no longer fitted.  The cups were cutting into my upper breast tissue so it needs to go to the thrift shop.  It further confirms that I  need the 34D and even 34DD cups that the fitters now recommend for me.  There is a noticeable difference in the construction of DD+ cup bras, they tend to have broader shoulder straps and wider underbands  with 3 or 4 hook fastenings to support the increasing mass of breast tissue. They do feel quite robust!

There's a reason you have bras and then there's D+ size bras. I prefer the wider straps and wider band D+ bras. It makes a difference in anchoring the breasts and gives better support and containment and less bounce. When I went to a DD bra the comfort level was so much better too.

Another thing that larger cup bras sometimes feature vs. smaller cup bras are non-stretch straps, which would no doubt help to prevent bounce. Or so I've researched; personally, I'm nowhere near that size.

DDs are not that big on smaller band sizes as I can attest as a 34DD. I don't consider myself to be that large. There's a fascinating Instagram site called theirishbralady and they post images of people in every bra size.  Of course these are female bodies but it is very educational.  D cups are not a large size.  Take a look and see if you recognise your size.  I certainly saw many images in the 34D and DDs that reflected my current breast development.  I may even submit an image of myself and see if they publish it!

I do sometimes question whether I should be wearing a bra and that maybe I have some kind of delusion about having boobs perhaps a fetish and then I  look in a mirror and see this. I then think that yes, I do have a genuine reason and maybe even need to wear a bra.
You’re not alone in this, I sometimes struggle with my feelings about HAVING to wear a bra versus the thought of “is it just wanting to wear a bra.” Like you, all I have to do is put one on and immediately see and feel the difference with a well fitting bra.
We need to pay less attention to the bra numbers and more on what our breasts need for support.
Like you, I had a bra that a year ago I thought was too big and now it’s my favorite for summer wear because it works so well. That bra looks perfect on you!
