How long does it take for contour to reform?

Hi everyone, I'm reporting in for a bilateral gynecomastia surgery I had on August 21st (last Friday).

I took my vest off 72 hours after surgery to carefully bathe myself, and I noticed that, although my nipples are bruised, they look great so far, but the area on my pec right above my left nipple is slightly indented.

Is this common for post-op?

I believe it is. I'm nearly 4 weeks post op and I have a dent next to my left nipple. It could be related to swelling, and at this stage Dr. Jacobs and Dr. Bermant say it's too early to tell. I think the tissue could still fix itself up over time though.
