no drains?

i had my surgery yesterday. all went well and i have my compression vest on but my surgeon told me there would be drains but i don't see any. is this normal?

I had a similar experience, the doc told me I'd have drains put in, but ended up without the tube + collection bottles. Apparently the scope of the surgery didn't call for drainage.

just did my surgery/lipo on monday.
i asked about drains, nurse said i dont have any or need any.
guess it all depends on your body type/health
