If I say the doctor that the have began to hurt recently and it bothers me when i lie or press it, will I be able to get the surgery from my insurance? Or it's not that easy?
I mean - can they know if I lie about? maybe the doctor would think it's another problem in my chest rather than gynecomastia?

thank you very much!

Honesty is always the best policy! If your insurance covers this surgery for any reason find out ahead of time, if it doesn't it most likely will not cover it for any reason! When it comes to this kind of surgery the insurance industry is very unfair, because if a woman needs a reduction surgery due to back and shoulder pain the insurance will cover it, however, if you are male with the same complaint no go!

That would boil done to how much does it bother you! Surgery it self isn't that big of a deal if your bothered by the thought of doing that! I've gone through some pretty hard surgeries including knee replacements, back surgery. I'm recovering from my last, done on Dec 9th SI joint fusion I'm beginning to think was my hardest! Believe me, your in good hands in the surgery room and after surgery you just need to take it easy for awhile, THAT IS THE HARD PART!

The key thing if you decide to go through with surgery is pick a great surgeon with great experience in gynecomastia surgery!

Good luck.

Bob
