Hey man i have read your posts and would like to know how you spoke with you doctor regarding the matter.  I am in a similar situation with my surgeon thinking that everything is fine- though i am only two months pos op.  It seems like you had to be very persistent with him. I am not looking forward to talking to him about it but at the same time am worried that I spent alot of money and didnt get the result that I could have.  Its just a tough place to be in and is really having an effect on me.  I am sure that you understand.  You can see my post under this topic from late last week.  Any insight or opinions regarding my results would be appreciated.

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat as you. This by far has been my worst summer yet, having a uneven chest is defiantly worse then what I had before. My biggest fear is that Dr. Jacob's says everything looks great and there's no need for revision. It's been over a year now and I think I'm pretty much healed. ??? WHY COULDN'T MY RIGHT SIDE LOOK LIKE MY LEFT, JUST WANT TO END THIS CHAPTER IN MY LIFE.

Surfdude-

From what i have heard/seen on these boards i understand dr jacobs to be an excellent and very understaning surgeon.  its hard for me to give you an opinion as i have not seen any pictures but trust me- i know what you are going through.  you are furhter down the road and i would think your results to be final.  is there anyway to show that one side is significantly larger than the other?  do you think that it is a question of needing more lipo or that gland was left?

sorry for not responding sooner, haven't been on these boards much at all.

anyways I was fearful of bringing up the subject again and again because I also did not want to undermine his skills, but I kept telling myself that I dropped about 7k on this operation and to let myself just be OK with my surgery was not a cool thing to do.  All I had to do was speak up and just explain that I really wasn't happy with what was done, and a bit of lipo can go a long way.

It's a bit awkward to start the conversation but it has to be done and believe me, is totally worth it.  You do sort of have to sell your argument though and make sure you explain why you're not happy and what should be done.

hope that helps

edit: buster I really think your chest looks fine, what were you planning to get revised?

krypto-  thanks for your response- no worries on the timeliness :)  i'm sure you have better things to do.  also thanks for the advise- i paid about the same amount as you did and have the same exact feelings.

yeah- the pictures look good it think, but i've come to find out that flash photography is a little bit deceiving-  you cant pick up on some of the contouring/shadowing that gives our chest its dimension.  my issue is that when i wear a light weight t-shirt i still have that band/shelf across my nipple.  at the end of the day is the worste thing? no.

btw- congrats- your chest looks great- it sounds like it was a long raod but worth it in the end.

wish I could find my camera to take better pictures of an update.  this was taken on my camera phone a couple weeks ago.  It's hard to tell exactly how good my chest looks, but I've been very very pleased.  Taking my shirt off and having to worry about something does not even exist in my mind anymore
