Ok I've read through this whole thread and wonder if Lo is a good choice since you guys seem mixed with him. I am in pretty good shape at 6'0 175 pound and don't have much fat in me but definitely have gyn. Would surgery by him be a good idea or should I head elsewhere?

EDIT: Also how did you guys pay for it? Was it an all out payment or could you use a thing like credit care or another surgery plan?

I did not use Lo. I paid for mine on my credit card/cash. They did offer financing.

How bad of gynco do you have?

Hey man.  I had my surgery done by Lo in Philly.  This thursday will be one month post-op, just got back from the gym - first time lifting since, lifted arms.  Going to ease myself back into it.     So far, man, I am quite pleased.  I still have some concavity when I flex, but I expect that to fill in; however, the concavity might look a BIT more defined since I still have a bit of swelling around the perimeter of the pecs.    My left nipple scar is healed, still have a slight creases under the actual 'teat' though, but I think that should release when the stitches start to dissolve.  The scar on the right nipple can still be seen easily and the crease is more profound than the left, but at this point I am not worried.  He assured me that I'd shirtless on the beach by the end of june which I was originally skeptical of, however, everything he said so far has been spot on, so I'm feeling confident.   I'm glad I went with Lo, as I felt that he knew what he was doing and actually CARED about my concerns.    At 6'0, 175lbs, I'm sure you're a straightforward case of gyne, like I was so I would personally recommend him, but my recommendation only goes so far; make sure you pick the surgeon whom you feel most comfortable with.   However, I do recommend to go it! Just jump in head first and get it done!  Summer is almost here!!!!

Do you have surgery scheduled yet?     I put mine on credit cards, I think Dr. Lo accepts that CareCredit financing plan thing.

For my height and weight I'll say slightly worse than average. I think because I have pretty big pecs as well it makes it worse. Its definitely noticeable in tight shirts.

Thanks. And honestly I'll probably not going to get surgery until during the fall since I have to save up money but I want to plan in advance. I think I want to partially pay cash and partially do financing if possible.

Cool.  Good way to go about it.  By that time I should be pretty much healed So you'll be able to see Lot's product first hand.

Good morning, boys!!!!  Today is ONE MONTH post-op!!!  Can't believe how quickly time has gone!!!!  So this week, I've hit the dieting HARD - I'm even keeping a log and tracking calories, believe it or not!  I lifted arms on Monday, did legs yesterday, and TODAY - I will be lifting chest!!  I'm feeling anxious, but excited nontheless and wanted to share!!  If my chest pops open, you'll see me promptly in the 'Ask a Doctor' section.     Will update after I get back to the desk.

How's everybody doing?  Haven't seen any updates from you guys, everyone doing ok?!?!?

You working out is great !

I was good on diet for first two weeks. Slipped a little this last week. I am three weeks post op. Another visit with PS on friday, lets see if he sticks/drains me again like last Friday. I am going to ask him about working out again. Next Tuesday would be 4 weeks and thats usually when its okay - but then again, my swelling is more than most.

Back!!!   Did my chest workout.  Lifted less weight than my Grandmother can lift, but I didn't want to push it too hard; just tried to focus on form and control.

I feel good!

Hey Showtime,

Did you post pre- and/or post-op pics here anywhere? You seem so satisfied with your results, I can't help but be curious.

whats up fellas..No real updates. Chest looks like shit. Just training and waiting till May 14th when I go back for a check up. I try to avoid this place to help myself keep my mind off the chest.

No doubt, I was happier with my chest pre-op.

Had a follow up with Dr. Lo today, Thursday will be 6 weeks post-op!  Feels like forever ago!   He seems quite excited with my current results, and the best part of the appointment! - He said that I am free to walk around in the sun shirtless!  I still don't feel comfortable enough to do that due to the creases, but getting that blessing is great step in the right direction!

Hope everybody is enjoying their healing!
