Questions before surgery

hi all,

  I am going through with it this month finally! only lipo no gland with the hurwitz center in pitt...anyone with experience with them?

  Had some questions I was hoping someone could answer

  1. Can something like Underworks #974 (smaller size for tighter fit) (http://www.underworks.com/998.html) be used as a compression garment or does it need to be something that it strapped on with velcro etc. I currently have this for cosmetic purposes and its pretty durable and usable in the summer.

 2. Has anyone got it done with the vaser lipo (http://www.vaser.com/) machine. What was the recovery like with this type of ultrasonic assisted lipo?

 3. What exactly is the deal with the drains? Do you have to keep going back to the doc the first few days...if not where does it drain out to?

I did a consult and exam and they concluded it was mainly adiposity on front and underarm so they suggested only lipo of around 1000cc.

I didnt have this before when I was totally thin due to an illness at 6"2 185lbs...Put on weight subsequently to 247lbs thats when it started...it s better now that I am back to 215 lbs but still prominent. Getting down to 185 lbs is going to be killing and if not for this problem I could look pretty normal now.

So I am guessing that it is not glandular bcoz it wasnt there before. Is that an ok assumption? Is there something like if they notice gland during the operations they can decide to do it then ...or it doesnt work like that.
