Mine was also 6 years in the making, and you will feel relieved when you finally get the surgery over with. But keep in mind that you will likely have a long way to go before you see your final result. Me and others made the slight mistake of having those liberating feelings soon after surgery but we need quite a few months for the healing to settle. Good luck to you.
