I'm 18, a student at college. I've had gyno for around 5/6 years. I'm currently on anti-depressants and the gyno is a main reason why I feel so self-conscious. Do I have a good case for getting on the NHS for surgery?

Thanks.

I went to my GP for another issue, and happened to ask him whether my left breast was meant to be a chubba or if I had cancer or something!

He said it looked and felt like simple gynecomastia and referred me to a breast specialist on the NHS.  The specialist gave me an ultrasound and said it was a very mild case and to let it go for a year and see if it would reduce.  At the age of 24 I didn't see how hormonal imbalance could be an issue, and his lack of sensitivity for the issue made me not go back.  2 years on, I have just seen an endocrinologist and am going to start private surgical consultations.

Definitely see your GP as a first step, but bear in mind they may not be as supercool as mine was ;-)
