I've decided I'm gona travel as light as possible and take a small rucksack.  I can then stick it under a seat on the plane. :)

Just got my hospital letter and stuff through and on it it says don't bring any valuables. :-/ did anyone else take an iPad ?  I was planning on doing that so I don't get bored in hospital.

I was informed just prior to booking that the hospital fees had been slightly raised again, bringing the total cost of surgery for me to £4390.

Yeah ive got the swelling at the top just the same. I found putting a little bag of frozen peas in a sock on each side of the chest reduces the swelling and bruising so I have been doing that on and off every few hours. Looking forward to having a proper showing and good look at the new chest ha. Also cant wait to swap to the new vest.

Yeah mine was 4390 also for mid May op.  +450 for flights, hotel, taxis.  That's my savings wiped out but strangely I am ok with that if it changes my life like it has done for everyone else on here. :)

Just wondering what people did for clothes after the op?  Im guessing no T shirts but shirts or full zip fleeces or something like that?
