Basicly the title says it all, i work in construction and work after surgery is out of the question i was wondering if i could get a sick note from the doctor for a month?

I'm pretty sure you can, as i asked when i had my consultation, although not sure how long it can get you off work for, i'm guessing a month is realistic as your working in construction.

youd have to arrange it with them before hand, some doctors wont give out sick notes but insist on it. Tell them to write "Recovery After Surgery" and say it was wisdom tooth removal

Winsdom tooth? cant i get them to write that i had a lump removed?

i forgot to finish the sentence, i meant tell the doctor exactly what youve had done

and tell work that youve had your wisdom teeth removed because all it will say is "recovery after surgery"

go to your GP before the op and run it through with him/her
