Someone had said that only accept areola excission and not under the arm. Now I'm confused as to which is a better option.

I had under arm incision. On the right side had fat and gland removed and the results are very good. My left side was much worse, both fat and gland, but is still fantastically improved and continues to do so.

irish, do you mind me asking; how much did you pay for your surgery?   Does your surgeon have a website?

I imagine like everything else it would be a lot more expensive to have it done in the uk. And his team is based in Barcelona. AFAIK Benito only does sales visits to the uk, apparently gyne is treated effectively under the spanish nhs over there too so its probably not rich pickings for a private surgeon.

Hi, glad to hear the consultation went well. I had a underarm and the nipple incision. Dr. Benito said both scars would eventually fade, it is just a matter of time. Go for whatever you feel most comfortable with mate. When is your op?

hopefully the 28th of may thats the earliest i was given.. but i am now sweating on my loan with the bank!! ye jim i think im going to go with the niple excission because i have puffy nipples to so it might do them some good! were you sore around where the nipple excission was? or did you find it a lot less painful/uncomfterable than the armpit excission??

To be honest, I was surprised about the lack of pain when I first got home. It was a bit still reaching for things above eye level.

Once I got the stitches out though and the skin started to move and contract it has been a bit sore at times. I didn't notice any soreness around either incision site though, just around the chest in general. I don't think the pain is caused by the cut itself, just the nature of the op.

28th May, yeah? That's not too bad, less than a month. Good luck with it all, mate.

ye cheers lads 28th just tryin to sort out my loan now at the moment really wrecking my head..but once i hopefully get it sorted il be ok for the op.. its just one problem after another with gyne it truly does take up most of your life.. im still in a 50/50 state of mind over which excission to have.. jim you say you had both excissions did you have puffy nipples?

I didn't have puffy nipples, but I did get the nipple incision on both sides of the chest, and then one from the armpit. Because I had already had an operation before which had left pockets of gland all over the show I just told Dr. Benito to go with whatever incision he felt would give the best results once he started the op. Maybe contact Dr. Benito and ask him which incision normally gives the best results and allows him to remove the most gland/fat.

good luck guys i went with benito and i have no regrets, its great walking around with tight tops on although i still feel self conscious untill i realise that i no longer have gyne! benito is a good guy and it will be an experience! i got the love handles done at the same time and the pain was amazing! coming home was fun and trying to even sit up for the first few days was hard. but the pain does go and so will the scars, my advice is to get up and about as quick as you can, plenty of walking and clean living untill you can get your ass back to the gym.
