Dr Levick - Lead-in times

Hi,
Can someone give me a rough idea of the timescales involved in booking a consultation and then receiving a date for surgery.

e.g. 4 – weeks until consultation, then a further 6 weeks until surgery.

Also, I’ve read a passing comment that Dr Levick is going to retire. Does anyone know when he plans to call it a day?

I emailed on Thursday 5/3/15 and had a consultation the following Tuesday. Surgery was booked during the consultation for 22/4/15. I was offered the week before, but I couldn't do that date. I've got no idea about his retirement I'm afraid!
