My progress update....

Well, I haven't been around for a while so here's an update on my progress.....
 In December I went for my consultation with the plastic surgeon and to be honest I was a bit dissapointed, after he had looked me over and told me about what he proposed to do to me (lipo & possibly exition (sp?), he then told me that even before I get put on the waiting list I would have to lose a few pounds and give up smoking (apparently this is because if I have the exition my smoking could cause my nipples could go funny and not heal properly?!!). Has anyone else been told this prior to the op or (as I suspect )is this just a delay tactic ?
  Anyhow, I have another appointment with him on Friday and I'm a bit worried because I've not lost any weight (although I have managed to kick the smokes), I guess I just don't want to be told to come back in another three months. I just want to get this thing over with so I can get on with my (gyne-free) life.
