Hi all, i just wondered if you guys could help me out please.

I am around 4-5 weeks now post op and im a little dis-appointed to be honest, my right side looks as though they didnt do a single thing with it, left hand side looks a little better but far from what i wanted, etc...

Has anyone got any details on how you go about contacting the Poland surgery about a potential revision? ? ?

Thanks.

Ha Ha i can be the Testing pig ;D , i like it.....i could add it it to my CV.
Yer the price is really cheap ; it works out £750 odd including stay in hospital and the general anaeshetic

•      Operation (Gynecomastia) EUR 750,-
•      Anaesthesia and one stay in the clinic after the operation
EUR 240,-
•      One additional day at the clinic (full board)
EUr 65.

That comes to 1005 EUR and i think including easy jet flights from Newcastle to Berlin and then taxi from Berlin to the place in Poland, i can get it all for under a grand.

Hi Guys. I know all you veterans on the board are fed up with giving the same information out but could you tell me which clinic is the one being refered to above. when i click on a link it seems to be dead. is there a list of polish or other european clinics in one thread that i can just copy and print as I am using the works pc and only get a couple of minutes to surf for gyne stuff before some nosey bugger starts looking over my shoulder. any help would be appreciated. thanks dave

It seems like to much of a gift horse, but if i think logicaly Poland is a poor country compared to the U.K. so the price due to the economy os probs spot on.
I think i will go for it!!!!!!
After perusing the documents they send out ;)

Thanks for your advice and support :)

Hi mate,
how's it going?
I had to have a revision -its no big deal . Just send the clinic an email stating your problem and add a couple of pics....be warned they may tell you to wait three months ( which is the norm with most clinics)....Its a simple as that :).
Hope this helps

Mark

P.s. weather is shite

Hi Mark,

just remind me... Have you been to Baranski twice then?

I'm nearly 5 months post poland op, and am considering a revisit. Did they sort you out, so to speak, second time round? Or was your 2nd op, the first time you had been to poland?

Cheers

hi patient1,

Yep i visited poland twice;the first time i only had lip and second was full gland removal.

I would say that i am 85 % happy with the out come...the lhs is perfect but the right still has a pocket of fat which gives the puffy/pointy look....I think this is because i only had excission the second time and not lipo...so when the gland was removed leaving a pocket...the fat from above has moved down over time....to the touch its really soft...maybe some time soon i will have it corrected...but for now i'm happy enough and like 'notfedup' i go swimming now and parade around with no shirt .

:)

sadly enough ive started walking around in the little sun that weve had without a shirt on :D
ive never dared do that before
a neighbour spotted the light scar under my nipple and mentioned it.
I almost died on the spot when he said "OH MY GOD YOUVE HAD GYNECOMASTIA SURGERY"
then lifted his top and said "SNAP!"
what a relief  :D

I have been in touch with the Poland surgery and wanted to book in this month, but unfortunately was just made redundant.  If I secure a decent job soon I will tell them I cant start for a week and book in for surgery asap.

I had surgery on the NHS last year, surgeon just wanted to do lipo, but I argued and pleaded and we agreed on excision and lipo.....I woke up from surgery and the first thing the nurse said was "we just did lipo, the surgeon was confident this will give you the best result"....my heart just dropped right there and then, I knew deep down the problem was not fixed and what do you know, it isn't.  I have given up on the NHS and wont mind dropping the grand in Poland.

I have been emailing the clinic, but really would like to phone up and book in properly that way.  Anybody know if thats possible?
