How was the shopping, what did you buy? Any fast food places to eat around there?

Do they still accept euros in poland?

Did you not feel any discomfort moving around crossing the border and all?

The actual operating room still had lights on so there was def some emergency lighting/power, just nothing in the rooms.

they do accept euros but judging by the faces of the shop assistants they weren't too keen and had to go to different tills.

Crossing the border is a 2  min walk across a bridge. Flash a coupl eof guards your passport and they'll let you through. HAd no problems in this regard. There is a McD's as soon as you walk across the bridge into Germany.

Didn't buy a lot, felt more comfortable shopping in Germany as I had the Euros and knew at least a couple of Germany words as oppossed to NO polish.

Oi, you lot!! stop bloody debating and book the surgery!  Best thing i have ever done ( apart from me mates mam...joke!)  .

There is a few restaurants across the bridge into germany ( 2 mins walk) and there is also a Mac D's! Them guys get everywhere!! lol

Sorry for being absent for so long, but i have been walkign up and down the beaches in gran canaria like i was magnum!!! felt great!!! but people were still stairing at me...but then i remmembered speedo's are not cool!!! oh, well we live and learn!!

ok so who is going ? and when are you going? has any one tried any of the other clinics i first mentioned? if he hikes the prices up use the others , i researched them and one was my first choice ( location problem for me ) !

I think we should ask the national lottery fund for some money so the moobs and moobs free can get together, share stories, luagh, cry and most important get bloody drunk!! cos we deserve it

I have just got back from poland literally minutes ago.

all i can say is that i am so so happy with the results so far.

obviously it's only been 2 days since the surgery, but the boobs have gone, what more could i ask for?

i can't stop looking at my chest in the mirror, it's flat like i always wanted!

in 12 days i can take the sticky bandage off to get the stitches out, so i'll see what the nipples look like then.

i'd just like to say how good the clinic is, and i really don't think you could get better in this country.

i will write a full writeup when it's not 1am in the morning.

I had the surgery on Monday and is still a bit sore.

The experience in Poland was great, everyone was very helpful, the place was so clean and generally everything was good and i highly recommend it.

In the end i only had surgery for gland removal as my chest is very lean and therefore liposuction on the chest was not necassary.

I have to have the stitches out on the 12th February so i look forward to that date and see how i feel about the changes, which i hope will look a lot better.

The main problem was that i get bad puffy nipples, my nipples and areola area isnt that big, i just get puffy nipples which show through t-shirts, etc... and are not good for the confidence, etc...

When are you guys putting up your deatailed post?  What was the cost of the procedure.

Howcome no one who has sone to poland for surgery has ever put pictures on here?

Ahhhh that feels much better despite the itching. It was nice to know that there were a couple of guys in at the same time as me, even though our schedules meant we didn't get time to chat.  Makes it easier somehow, not that it was difficult though, not in the slightest.

Nuff respect to MarkAshleigh for his pioneering spirit, we all own you one mate!!!! You too NotFedUp, thanks for your great and accurate info!!

Sam, I had surgery the day after Gaz and AK and I'm going to do a  detailed post of my personal story, op recovery etc with some pics.

I don't have a digital camera so I have no before photos, but I had one taken in the clinic before surgery with a film camera by the doctor.
When I get that pic I will post it. The pic will give a good before/after as the op theatre was warm so me nips were warm and puffy .

I feel great after returning. Most of the posts I read prior to going were about Levick, and I was expecting pain, restricted movement etc, but was surprised that I have felt no pain! That I could put clothes on and off no problem (but gently of course), and I could put my bag in the overhead compartment on the plane on the way home (48hrs post op).

Costs were just what Andreas said they were in a mail (total 1680 or something incl everything, don't have the figure in front of me, but there or thereabouts)

I had bandages for about 36hrs, which were replaced with plasters which will stay on until I get the stitches out 2 weeks post op.

Would I reccommend it? Hell yeah! I'll do a more detailed thread soon so you can get a better idea.

total cost for me and gaz was 1655 euros which roughly worked out to £1141.

That included clinic cost (3 days stay there), compression vest, anaesthetist, and the operation itself.  me and gaz shared a room as obviously we know each other and went out there together, so i'm not sure if that reduced the price at all.

ok, so here's how it all happened....

sunday evening gaz came over to my house at about 9pm, we basically just stayed up all night and at about 4am we went to the airport to check in.

we decided that it would be easier if we just took everything as hand luggage as 3 days away wouldn't require many clothes.

we went through the airport all the way to security and put our bags through the xray machine.  both mine and gaz's bags got pulled aside and we were told that we had to open them up to be searched.  fair enough, we did as we were asked.  next thing we know the woman is telling us that if we wanna get on the plane they want to confiscate 90% of my toiletries.  well this pissed me off as what harm am i gonna do with a tub of skin moisturiser and some facewash. then they wanted to take my razor, and toothpaste.  they also wanted to confiscate gaz's deodrant.  we weren't even allowed to take bottled water through with us.  well, my exact words to the woman on security were "have you been smoking too much crack?" and she proceeded to tell me that if her team leader heard then i wouldn't be allowed to fly. 

well, as much as i love arguing, i wanted my operation to go ahead more, so i kept my mouth shut and we were told to go back to check in and put a bag through as luggage, and keep valuable stuff as hand luggage, so we had a shuffle about and managed to get all our "deadly weapons" consisting of skin cream and other general wash stuff into my bag and then checked it in at the easyjet check in desk.

went back through security and everything else was fine. so we waited around till the plane was due to leave, got on, and 2 hours later we ended up in berlin.

when we got to the airport in berlin we were greeted by richard the taxi driver holding up my name on a card.  he took us out to his taxi, the trusty old vw passat, and we waited there while he went back to the arrivals lounge in the airport to meet harry (who's also on this forum).

once harry arrived then we were off.  we were driven for about 40 mins until we reached the border of germany.  we needed to show our passports here so that we could pass into poland.  once past the border control it was only a matter of a few mins before we were at the clinic in sublice.

when we arrived at the clinic we paid richard 60 euros for the journey and were taken inside the clinic and shown to our room.  i took some photos of the inside of the clinic, so i'll post them later.

once in our room we were met by a nurse who put one of those things into my arm so that u have a permanant tube into your vein so they can inject you quickly without the need for needles every time.  the nurse took our blood so they could run some tests before the operation. 

after the bloodtest i had a consultation with dr baranski.

its the least we can do as wqe were sufferere3rs also and we were glad to get rid of this hgorrible nasty humiliating condition.

as mosty of you have read the LEVICK threads about being in pain youll find your in for the pleasant surprise of not being in pain at all

Hi there mate.

I feel ok, i am a little sore but i expected that to be honest. I didnt have lipo in the end, just some gland removal for the puffy nipps that i get. I have got stitches in the nipples like you get and i have to have those out on the 12th Feb.

At the moment i have just got the stitches and also the dressing over the top of that.

I can put up a detailed post yes, that is no problem at all.

I bought one of those nike compressions tops from JJB to help with the area nice and tight until i get the stitches out on the 12th Feb.
