Well, I'd be nude and they'd be washing me.... :-[  Not your average day's activity!  I'm just shy, I suppose!

I have my consultation booked for December now with Dr. Benito. When you had surgery with Doctor Benito did you have to wear those paper pants under a gown? I heard a rumour that you're completely naked which I thought was quite odd and a little more humiliating than it needs to be! Also what are the different checks they do before surgery apart from a blood test? Thanks.

Yes, the dress code is indeed paper pants under a gown.  I assume they do this to keep everything sterile and clean in the surgery room.  Still, you can get changed in the privacy of your own bathroom and it's not as if you have to walk anywhere, you just need to hop on the trolley to be taken down to surgery.  In addition to the blood tests they test your temperature, blood pressure and monitor your heart rate (I forget what it's called, they stick little discs on you attached to wires and the machine goes beep-beep-beep?!).  Oh, and a general health questionnaire.

Puffy nips is caused by gland Harry. Dr Benito takes it out with scissory things. Have you had any improvement since your last post?

Hi Outerial,

I know PN is caused by gland, but not all gland causes puffy nips. At least that's my understanding. I certainly know that
not all surgeons do a good job of puffy nips. I went to Poland with 2 others, we all had puffy nips, and we all still have puffy nips, so
IMHO, Baranski is not good at Puffy nips. I could go back for a revision I suppose, but I have no faith that he has the ability/technique for this particular issue.

Bob, thanks for posting your experience. My contour looks just like yours (That's after one OP).

Does Benito go in at the nipples or at the side?

At the side only, under the arms.  You can see the incisions on my pics, they're about 3mm in diameter and look like little more than spots or moles.   ;D

Well, it's 12 days now and things are going well, I think.  The main swelling seems to have all but gone and I'm left with a rather hard and slightly bumpy chest.  However, I've got most of the mobility in my arms back now and it's not particularly sore anymore.  It's early days yet, so I'm expecting the bumpiness and lumpy patches to fade over time.  I'll post more picture when it's become noticably different.

Yeah, hard and bumpy, thats right.

Yes, but I assume that this goes soft and fades over time.  Right?  Also, two weeks post-op, did the skin on your chest pull when you raised your arms or moved your shoulders back.  Slightly worried about muscles sticking to the skin.... :(

All totally normal im my experience. I could still feel a bit of tugging after several months when stretching out fully.  Dont worry about it.

EDIT: Make sure you keep massaging at least twice a day while the tissue is still hard.

Howdy folks.  It's been a while since I posted.  Anyway, healing is progressing well.  Was worried about 3 weeks post op, when the scar tissue started forming, but it has since started to gradually go down.  I'm sure that I wasn't massaging or exercising enough.   :-[

Still several slight bumps around both nipples, and,  unfortunately, the lower part of my right nipple is still slightly stuck to the muscle, but massaging that my free it up.  I went to see Dr.Benito last week and he was very reassuring and said that releasing the nipple would be an easy job, if it didn't do it itself.  More importantly, it wouldn't cost me any extra, just the trip to Barcelona. Phew!

I'm confident I'll get good results.  As it stands, I'm 90% happy, which is great, considering I've got lots of healing still left to do!

I'll post some pics sometime soon, when I eventually remember!

All very good and easy.  I'd certainly recommend him as the man to see for anyone from the UK.
