Yeah Levick said 7 days to me but I just couldn't stand the itching and I did really well to last 6 days!  The bandages were sort of coming off by themselves anyway.

Still wearing the compression vest religiously.  It's been a week and 4 days since the op and I've got complete mobility back, can move my arms and everything.

The stitches under my arms I thought were infected, they were all red, but a nurse at my doctor's clinic assured me it was fine and now they are healing up nicely.  It just takes time because it's such a difficult place to heal, moving around all the time.

I am still so happy with the way my chest looks.  Can't wait to get back into the gym again but that will just have to wait!

How long do I have to keep wearing the compression vest?

a lot of docs recommend 6 weeks for best gains buts thats cos most people dont wear them religiously and the actual length of time is more around 4 weeks.

stonecold, my chest isn't that tender anymore and it's easy to wash without pain.

After I took the bandages off it felt really strange to touch it, like your foot goes dead if you don't move it for a while, tingling and no real feeling in it.  But that is gradually wearing off. haven't got complete feeling back yet but it doesn't feel so wierd.

Levick told me the ccs but I really can't remember. I'll check again.  he took a picture before so I'll post that when he sends the copies to me (like he said he would).  And then I'll take one as my chest is now!

I'm quite used to the compression vest so I guess another 4 weeks or so won't hurt :)  It keeps me warm outside when it's cold.

Chestrockwell, I think that's just the scars healing differently on either side.  Make sure you clean them, I know it's tricky now but they musn't get infected.  I remember being in real difficulty the first few days, try not to use your arms too much.  Just relax and take it easy and within a few days you will be able to use them.

hey stone c
havnt talken to karidis yet.  but im not happy that he hardly took any gland out.  bobbies are still jiggling about., i can even squeeze em.   even my parents couldnt notice the diff from me having the op.  they said it looks same.
1 side which had a lot of fat or gand at the bottom of the pec is there.  i specifically asked him to concentrate on removing that.   chest just looks messy, its not clean, as in things dnt look even.   i can tell its gna look deformed.

UK i hope that it settles down and looks better fro you within time. If as you suggest it does look like that, will you consider further surgery?
