geg its cos thats how the size of my chest was b4 surgery, and it looked more or less the same.  thats why im not very positive about it.  but yes u have a very very valid point about u saying it can be inflammed tissue.

yea tru point about massaging, i prob wait another week or so  :)

Uk i think so far so good. I cant see the deformity you spoke of.

I have still got my bandages on but have noticed that the top of my arms, just above the armpit, looks like loose skin. Has anybody else noticed since they have their gyno removed that their is abit more loose skin in that area? Obviously ill see more tommorow but i didnt think realise that i could potentially end up with loose skin hanging around the tops of my armpits?

yes stone cold, i also have this and its a good point to make.  im sure theres others like this also.  i think its cos they dont lipo the area there, so its not as tight as everything else.  although there is no harm in lipoing that area.

yes i too have enlarged in that area.
its not the case of not doing any lipo.its because the entry in our surgey (levick) entrance to excise is there so it is very inflammed.it will/should settle down once the inflammation settle downs,so nothing to worry about.
however in uk2000 type of surgey where acces and lipo is done at the areola it will be an area wiith less lipo done and inflammation so it similar case scenario.but it will be more swollen in levick type me thinks.

Geg how long do you reckon the inflamation will last in that area? Worst case scenario if i didnt shrink back down, would lipo be an alternative to bring it back into line?

I just took the gauze stuff off from underneath the arms were the incsions are and am suprised by how small they are. I thought they would be longer and maybe a little wider.

When is evrybody going back to work? Have you all been out and back to some normal activities yet?

Hi guys, il sort some pics out tonite i think geg, but im still having trouble with the RH side, it is sore and still quit tender around the side of the pec were the bruise is,  also the incision popped open again!, so i put a plaster over it to try and help it bond and this seems to have held it for now.. but because the bottom half of the incision it swollen the incision hasnt aligned properly, if it fails to bond this time im going to have to get it re'stitched otherwise it may get infected or il probably end up with a horrible thick scar, the RH side is were i expierianced a hell of a lot of pain during surgery and this is were my problems are at the moment.

My LH side is sound, i have quite a good range of movement in it already, i think im going to give levick a call tomorrow and ask his opinion regarding the little problems im having.

I havent taken them off yet, am going to do it tommorow. Im growing more concerned about this excess skin around my armpit. I suppose i will get a better idea when i take the bandages off. I remember asking Dr levick about loose skin issues in the consulation and he said because i wasnt over weight i wouldnt have those issues.

Chris have you got any issues with excess skin?

Well there seemed to be excess skin when i had my bandages on because the skind were the incision is was all swelled up and protruding over the top of the bandages, i have removed the bandages and it just seems to be swelling, it is almost gone on the LH side but the RH side is still there because the bandages were rubbing on the incision and it coundnt heal so it is still slightly inflamed and there seems to be hard tissue just under the incision on my pec so this is probably scar tissue, i cant even give it any massage because i will pop the incision open again, but the excess skin m8 might be just swelling!.

Chris if the stitches arent holding up id get it looked at asap mate. im sure your local gps could offer something to help. Dont let it get infected. maybe you just need some butterfly stitches to hold it in place. When i took mine off early the gauze had alot of blood, but the stitches seem to be more or less in tact.

This skin is folding over the bandages, i hope it is swelling or maybe having the badages on tight makes the skin fold up more.

chris i saw your pics.tours is a smaller version of mine the probs.
the bruise looks ok nothing to worry about im sure levick will say the same.you also have a lumpy area above the armpit so do i,but mine is more pronounced.
you have wat looks like puffy nips,so do i but that should go down over time too.i too have hard areas on my left hand side but that will probably reduce over 3 -6 months really.
all in all yours looks quite good.like mine needs time to get rid of inflammations,bruises,lumps....

nice one m8, as you can see geg by the pictures from 6-9 that the nipples look pretty damn good at the moment, i had my compression vest off for around 20 min trying to get a couple of decent pics so my nipples started to fill up and begin to protrude slightly!, the bottom of the pec is swelled a little aswell as its still early days yet, i just hope when the swelling has gone and they have settled down that they look as good or if not better than they do now.

have you got any pics geg?.

lol what do you think to my webpage?... straight to the point or what :D :D

chris.

hi chris i will be putting sum mine b4 and after pics.
had first day back at work.it was ok as i dont do anything to strenous.
uk2000 mate swelling is gona be different from both side.my right is a lot more swollen than my left.dont stress.it doesnt necessarily mean that once the swelling has gone it will be different.i think you should not stress untill at least 4 months.are bodies are weird.give it time.go thru all the uk and other post and watch all the people stressing at first couple of months into it with ard areas ,swelling at different sizes at different side etc.and after all that it evens out.
