Currently sat in my room feeling pretty good at the moment. It's been a bit of a bit of a bumpy day. All the staff including Dr.Levick have been amqxingly helpful and friendly. When I arrived I had to fill in a couple of forms I'd forgotten to do before I came and then the porter came to take me to my room. As a few others have mentioned you dont really get much chance to dwell on whats about to happen because literally every doctor, nurse and anaesthetist has something to ask you and go over but tbh I really wasnt nervous at all I was actually excited. Eventually it was time to go down and I got taken to surgery by a very cute anaesthetist . It was her and two others who put me under. I woke up in recovery and this was were I was out of it. I couldn't keep my eyes open but I felt really uncomfortable and couldnt go to sleep. After getting wheeled to my room I still felt horrible and I wasnt looking forward to a day feeling like that. As it happens I'd been given morphine which from previous experience fucks me up and not in the good way. Its taken a while for the effects of the morphine to subside and now it has I feel great. I'm wrapped up pretty tight in the compression bandage but tbh it seems more like a stab proof vest the amount its been padded out. It's going to be interesting trying to hide it under clothes in the next week. The foods been great and my parents have been really helpful also. looking forward to tomorrow when levick shows me what he pulled out, he genuinely seemed surprised by the amount he got out considering he thought I HAD mild gyno. I'll try and upload some pre op pics at some point and then get the post op ones as well when I receive them.  I'll take some myself when im more mobile.

Just waiting for them to take the drains out and I can't wait till its done, they're really starting to irritate me.  From the sounds of things on here when they actually get removed its pretty grim so not looking forward to that. last night was pretty touch and go I didnt get much sleep but that was mainly due to me nodding off all day in fact I think I got more sleep this morning. Levick came in to show me the pictures and I was surprised by how much hed taken out, there was a good chunk of gland in there. He told me to just scan in the picture so I will do when I get home and upload it. Roll on 4 weeks when I can finally start a bit of light weight training.

Apparently I was the only one out of 4 who went pretty faint and felt that when they took the drains out it was excruciating. Not a nice experience, people react to it differently I guess.

Congratulations dude, you did it, welcome to the other side The drains seem to effect people in different ways. The main thing is you're gyne free.

Day 2 post op:
My mobility seems to be improving quite quickly and im quite looking forward to where i'll be in a week. The bandages are really annoying, ive been fastened in to quite an arkward position. Its quite funny because ive spent most of this summer working on my posture with shoulders back and down due to the years of hunching my shoulders forward and when i finally get rid of my gyne im stuck with my soulders hunched for a week :p. I keep getting a sharp burning pain sensation in my RHS, nothing too bad but enough to make me slightly anxious. I cant wait to get the bandages off and have a look instead of constantly second guessing myself that the surgery might not have gone well or something like that.

It's normal to wonder whats going on under the bandages dude, just keep looking at the removed glands picture and rest assured that its all gone now and in the bin! You'll be amazed when you take the bandages off, it's kinda hard to describe the feeling, but i was elated.

Decent physique btw, you look like a leaner version of me. What are your stats? (height/weight) What training do you do?
