Hello all

I have been looking at this board for a few years now and I definitely thank you for all the advise/encouragement as well as give thanks to each one of you dealing with this and the strength to talk about this openly.

I have always been athletic (college level basketball player) and interested in those who are/have been (others please feel free to comment as well).  At present, I am 6-5, 230 lbs and 12% body fat.  I am interesting in a few talking points

1)  I am in the New York City area...any advise regarding surgeons (pre/post pics, cost, advice if you do not mind)
2)  Athletic/bodybuilder advice/counsel/pic from those with this condition (possible "helping" techniques)
3)  Honest evaluation of condition

Thanks in advance and I do look forward to the groups comments and support!

Welcome Notorious !

1. From what I've seen Dr. Elliot Jacobs is one of the very very best in this type of surgery and he's in NY city (you lucky bastard ! :D). However that comes at a cost, it's probably very expensive (as NY is) and from what I've read you may be looking at $7k. But after seeing what Dr. Jacobs does in before and after pics, it's worth every penny in my opinion.
2. You do have some evident glandular tissue from the photos. Most people will tell you that if you work the chest more it will push out the gland and make it more visible. In your case, the gland causes the nipple to point downwards so maybe working the chest will help push it down even further and make it less noticeable. I don't know honestly every case is different. In your case, I would not do anymore than I am already doing. Your chest looks athletic apart from this small deformity.
3. I think it will be an easy fix if you decide to go with surgery. If it really bothers you, get it done.

No question you have excess tissue on the lower half of your chest as well as puffy nipples.  This would require both liposuction and gland excision.

You also have some asymmetry of the nipple locations -- this problem should be addressed with your surgeon.

Good luck!
