Hello all and thanks for opening my post. Since i was 12 i had puffy nipples. I went to my Dr and he said " oh it will go away when your older". Here at the age of 21 it hasn't. It was way worse back then when i had no definition but it still haunts me to this day. I haven't went to the beach or swimming since i was 13. Im even embarrassed to show my chest even to my girlfriend of 5 years. If anyone has any suggestions in how to deal with this im listening. I hope to have surgery sometime in the future but cant due to college bills and such. I made a donation page if anyone feels like lending a helping hand if not i still thank you for reading this... God Bless.

Thanks for sharing.  Your case is very common.  Unfortunately many parents will say what your folks said.  And often it is backed up by the pediatrician who will pat you on the shoulder to reassure you that it will disappear (usually by the magical age of 18, when your entire life and physical body changes "overnight").

Neither your folks nor the pediatrician is aware of the constant embarrassment that this causes and the adaptions that guys make to deal with the problem, including refraining from swimming, athletics and even social situations.

I wish you luck -- one day you will deal with your problem.  Just be sure to go to the right surgical specialist.
