2 Weeks Post-Op Feedback Appreciated!

Hey guys, I'm 2 weeks post-op. I had the surgery in Sweden and I had both excision and lipo done to me. I'm just looking for some feedback because im feeling insecure about my right chests' outcome. I can feel very hard tissue under my skin, I'm not sure what it is but I think its dried blood? I feel it on both sides but mostly on my right, and as you can see it is bigger than the other (it's always been bigger, even pre-op). What do you guys think? Do you think the hard swelling or whatever it is with subside in due time? Thanks!

As you can see my right sight is a bit bigger and more rounded due to it having more tissue that is hard underneath. I know for sure it's not gynecomastia cause I spent alot of time feeling the gland underneath for years. This type of tissue is very hard and in my inner chest as well as outer. I am just very worried about this side, the other looks fine in my opinion. Please let me know what you think and if you believe this "hard swelling" will subside. Thanks again!

it sounds like scar tissue, which is pretty common.  after your chest has had a chance to heal for a month or two you might talk to the doc about massaging it to help reduce it.  it is normal to be nervous at this stage, but the fact is, it's too early to try to predict final results, it can take months or even up to a year.  

was the surgery liposuction, excision, or both?  if it was lipo only you could be concerned there was still some gland tissue left, but hopefully not.

Nah dude it was both lipo and excision :]! Do you think it looks good so far?

I have a similar hard tissue as you dude, and the doc confirmed it to be scar tissue. he said it should go away in about 3 months' time.

yeah i was going to say it looks like scar tissue, and that should improve, though you should ask your dr for his suggestions.  but don't worry, freaking out after an op is normal, everybody does it.  real recovery doesn't happen just overnight.

Will I be able to start gym 4 weeks after surgery? Which for me will be next thursday.

the usual recommendation is around 4-6 weeks, it's not a literally to the day thing, but personally i would rather play it safe.  what's two more weeks compared against the risk of damage while it's still healing?  the best person to ask for sure would be the doc who knows your case.  even if you did, try to start off gentle no matter when you go back again.

I didn't even want to work out until 2 months out.  It sucked bc I am a gym rat so I lost some progress, but the overall physique I have now is better than I could have ever asked for with gyne.  Looks good, similar to mine right after surgery.
