Hi mate

Thanks for the info

I shouldnt have bothered seeing him, I wish I hadnt

I dont kno tbh, about whether it looks any different while cold or not, all I know is I have spent 2 years loosing fat through diet/excercise to finally build u the courage to go to the docs, and they say that.... I know my chest looks different to the rest of me, it looks out of place and I am not that fat anymore to call it fat.

i didnt have a positive experience at the drs mate either tbh! in fact he diagnosed me straight away and kind of in a sarcy voice said u wont get that on the nhs. i went back again to a different dr. as i heard about some meds u could take like tamoxifen or something like that and he to got a bit sarcy and said there is nothing that he can give me for that.

at that point i thought im at a drs who is meant to look out for me and sort things out! and they just dont care he was walking towards the door for me to get up and leave. as if they were just worried about sticking to numbers or something.

i went back again a few weeks later and he passed me on to a surgeon who charged me £100 quid for him to tell me all about gyno wich i already knew from the drs so the 100 was a waste of money, he the showed me on or two pics where i didnt like the scarring but was thinking about it. i didnt feel comfortable with this surgeon he also said to me its alot of money u could go on holiday with it lol. so i decided not to go with him.

i then went to find out about lazer lipo wich i travelled a fair way only to see s rep or some sort who seemed as if he was trying to sell me a car and how fantastic this new surgery was. but i dont believe the hype mate the only true thing that i have come across is this site.

i know im draggin on! but what im trying to say is dont give up!, u might get lucky with another dr u might come into money soon. alot can happen in a space of a year anyway good luck.....

dem248 and jsboob in the previous threads are right as is your professional doctor. There is nothing wrong with your chest it is near perfect. Seriously if you are genuine get some counselling it is all in your head !

Glad to see some others are in agreement here! Some people on this site seem to encourage surgery at all costs even when there really is no need at all!
This is of course my opinion ( which you asked for!) & you are free to follow their advice, but seriously, take a look at 99% of men around you - do they have this "completely flat chest" that some seem to crave?

Im all for awareness of gynecomastia treatments but I really think the media is overhypeing this to a dangerous degree. ::)

I think we all know this is the same person with multiple accounts, Titmouse!

Alright jsboob/titmouse/change2010/dem248 we understand you dont want surgery, keep on living your miserable life and dont deal with the problem doesn't bother me in the slightest. Keep on acting like it doesn't bother you and taking out your frustration on people who have less of a severe of a condition than you. They have the balls to address it, you unfortunately would rather troll on the forum good luck with that!

Mark you need to see another doctor, if you read the UK forum there is a fairly new topic about a successfull NHS surgery. Get referred to that doctors you can see absolutely any surgeon/doc in the UK all you have to do is ask for a second opinion if you are not happy

Thanks thetodd and postiey

Your help is much appreciated

Ok, I rarely go to the docs I am rarely ill, so how exactly would I get a second opinion, my doctor did his exam and said what he said, how to I go about ggng to a different place? I understand I have to be registered to my most local dr surgery?

stupid question I know, but I honestly dont have much clue...about this

thanks again guys, means alot

when i ring my docs they normally ask who my doctor is! but sometimes they say would u mind seeing someone else as im guessing this is when they are off work. this seems to have happen alot to me not just with the experience of gyne. so im guessing u can just ring up and say can i see another dr!

otherwise i think ur right u would have to sign up to another surgery alot of hassle, be much easier just to be cheeky and just say could i see someone else the reception wont probably tell him either so dont worry. when u do see another dr if they think u have it or diagnose u with it they will send u for blood test but wont be on that day tho.

good luck!

change 2010 no one on this site says to any member to get surgery i have been on this site a year! i have never seen that so u are talking........... i have a similar case to markfj so i know how he feels when u train and eat well and it wont go away.

he wouldnt be on this site if he didnt feel he had a problem we are just trying to help him. will u be there for him saying he looks fine when he doesnt feel comfortable in certain situations. therefore u are the one that is not helping!

as i have said i have had a case similar to markfj and i know what he is talking about from eperience i have lived with it for ten years!! so if surgery is the only answer what more can u say to someone!

sochange2010 what is ur gyne like then why are u on this site?

to "thetodd":
I dont know what you are on about saying am some other guys?, but as regards my OPINION on the op's photos, why do you make such personal defamatory remarks about me just because my opinion doesnt square with yours?
looking at a few similar posts, I see you (& some others to be fair!) like to make out YOUR opinions are the only correct ones!  ::)
Kinda pointless having a forum if that is the case, no?
Unlike you, I dont claim to be stating facts, only my opinion ( as asked for!) & in no way wish to cause offense or hurt (even to you!)
If the OP needs facts then his doctor should be the only person to ask!

time for a chill.

i think everybody knows it's mostly opinion here, even the dr's are careful about representing what they say as "fact" without an in person consultation, and most people know they're not getting medical advice as such anyway.

although i don't mind calling gyne gyne when i see it.   ;)
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

Yeah lets not get upset over my issues  ;D

I think I may take Postieys advice and try for a 2nd opinion, even if they then say its not gyno... I will speak to them, because if its not Gyno... its something that still dont look right in my eyes.

If I have no joy on NHS, saving for surgery it is, I would get a loan out now, but already paying 1 off
