My Photos...Surgery Date 11/29

10 days to go after over 10 years of this.

Had it since puberty (am 24 now), no amount of working out helped (it often made it a bit firmer, but also added protrusion)

I have never been overweight, and it was also a problem in high school when I was much thinner (6'4" 155).  I am 6'4" 200 nowadays.  I actually have a pretty decent body if it wasn't for this, which forces me into baggy shirts and shapeless sweaters, and keeps me off the beach.  I like to work out, but I always get discouraged with how bad my chest always looks even after months of hard training.

Its never been a problem for me with women, as far as I know, but its bothered me for years.  Time to make a change for good.

Surgery is scheduled for 11/29 with Dr. Leigh in Minneapolis, MN.  I worked on the website for his practice (www.edinaplasticsurgery.com), so I am familiar with the place.  Cost will be $3750.

I would welcome your thoughts on my condition, and I look forward to returning with some awesome early after photos in December!

mine are prety similar in size but i dont have that botom curve to it...

Would you all consider this to be a minor, moderate, or severe case of gyne?

Not quite sure how I stack up to others on this board or who have this condition.

10 hours until surgery.  Currently fasting like a Gremlin (no food after midnight) and getting any sort of manual labor tasks wrapped up (laundry, grocery shopping, etc.) Wish me luck and root for me tomorrow at 11!

I will be moving to the Diaries to keep a post-op diary starting tomorrow (if I am not too doped up), so anyone who is interested in my experiences, head on over and check it out!

Try to imagine what your chest will look like if you do not have the greatest plastic surgeon in the country. I hope you do not end up like so many, with wrinkled, deformed, darkened, obviously-operated-on nipples on a flat, deflated-looking chest. You might find it even more difficult to explain a deformed set of nipples to a girl, than a somewhat voluptuous chest, which she might not object to at all.

OK, time for the afters!!!!

This is four days post op.  Good flatness, a tiny bit of asymmetry that still may be due to stitches.  One nipple is sticking up and the other is inverted!  I think this is probably due to them being only a half inch from stitches.

I am pleased so far, especially only being 4 days out.  What do you all think?
