Hi,

I came to know this forum a month ago. Thanks to all of you guys. I am 32 yrs old. Having Gynecomastia from last 15 years. I was overweight until 3 years back (around 240 pounds). Now, I am 180 pounds. Everything looks good except my chest.

Consult an 23 years experience PS today. He said I have lot of loose skin with fat. He need to remove the fat and skin using Lyposuction and Excision. He is going to move nipple 4 cms up on both sides. The scars will be there, he cannot do anything without scares because of excess skin.

I am very worried how the results are going to be. Is anyone in the forum do have my condition got great results.

Whilst it is possible that weight and other factors have caused the development of your gynecomastia it is well worth consulting an endocrinologist to check your hormonal status.

Thanks for your reply. I did consult endocronologist 2 years back he did bunch of blood test and MRIs and didn't figure out anything. He want's to do some more test and I give up with him.

We live in San Marcos closer to Austin, TX. Do you think can Endo cure this Gyno. Please let me know your suggestions.

Also, I am not sure how the results are going to be after the surgery. Doctor is not confidently saying he is going to give me the fat chest.

I would follow the advice of the endo and go with the tests that he wanted to conduct- that is what I would do.  An endocrinologist wont be able to cure your gynecomastia, but they could find out if it is caused by some underlying condition that requires treatment in its own right- or rule out any underlying causes.

Either way you need a very experienced surgeon who specialises in gynecomastia to get the best ressult given the extent of your gynecomastia.  I would have thought somone like Dr Bermant- one of the top plastic surgeons-

I can still get you contact details of endos should you wish- but it sounds like you have that angle covered and if anything should go back to the guy you were seeing and let him do what he thinks is best.
