how long did it take for you, from the initial doctor's visit to the surgery?

Is it long and involved, or can you like pretty much get it the next week after you visit the doctor to ask for it, if you have the dough?

Hmmm, well the 1st time I talked to my doc was december 07. He told me the price and I didnt have it at the time so I just kept in contact with the nurses at his office. Then a few months ago I had enough money then called the doc and went in for a meeting and scheduled the surgery for a week later. I would guess it mostly depends on your surgeons schedule.
