Dorina (not Doreen) bras - just discovered.

Looks like the bra I was wanting is made out of unobtainium. 😕

I had made up my mind to buy one in 40B, due to several reviews that said that it ran small. There is one store that is selling them for $24AU, but they want another $48 for delivery! The bra is unavailable from other retailers despite continuing to advertise them, or they don't deliver here, and even if I went along the Amazon or eBay route, they are not available in my chosen size.

Oh well.

I actually went ahead and ordered the bra from La Redoute. It should arrive later this week. I figured, if it was a $48 bra and cost $24 for delivery instead of the other way around, I would just go right on ahead and order it, so why not? But I did dilute the delivery cost by ordering a linen navy blue short-sleeve shirt as well.

First impression after trying it on was one of disappointment. Although the bra looked and felt in real life what it appeared to be, featuring ribbed cotton cups and lightweight construction, the cups did not stretch sideways with the ribbing, so it actually squished my moobs somewhat! Probably a good thing if I want to remain undetected. 

The size (40B) was spot on. The band is snug but not unduly so and it is deeper and sturdier than another European cotton bra that I own. It still only has two rows of hooks, which is normal for a small-cup bra, but they are a good inch apart. The straps are 5/8" wide and quite stretchy too. Pleasingly, I don't have to adjust them to their maximum extent to get a proper fit like several other bras of mine. The adjusters are towards the front of the straps, so there are no giveaway bumps to be seen through your shirt.

Although initially disappointed at my diminished appearance in the mirror, the bra is extremely comfortable to wear. I've only had a short try-on so far and then it got washed, but I will wear it for a full day next week.

Thanks for sharing such a detailed review.  The bra has many pluses but the lack of shaping from the cups is perhaps disappointing.  This often seems to be a problem with one piece stretch cups so I  now tend to look for at least 2 section or ideally 3 section cups for better shaping and comfort.  These would transform your appearance.  Marks and Spencer do an amazing sports bra with 3 section cups available from A cup upwards which looks lovely on.
