The Wonder of a Well-Designed Brassiere

I imagine we're all connoisseurs of breasts, having appreciated the feminine form from an early age.  We understand there are the perfect breasts displayed in Playboy centerfolds when we were younger and the even MORE perfect breasts on porn sites enhanced with silicone implants.  We also understand not every bosom is perfect and that those less than perfect breasts will benefit from a well-designed brassiere that shapes and lifts what nature provides.  These wonderful garments are generally much more important for men who find ourselves endowed with an abundance we had not expected.

We've read about men who are very unhappy about this growing reality.  How to respond is much talked about on this website.  The folks who have wandered over to the acceptance side of the website have met men who chose to seek support.  Often the support was intended to minimize the appearance of breasts we carry.  But some among us concluded that taking care of the breasts developing on our chest involves finding brassieres designed to present them well.  We've viewed photos of men wearing brassieres, often celebrating how effective the brassieres are and even how attractive our breasts are in this or that brassiere.

People know that I don't wear a brassiere every day, but they also know that I've found unlined, underwire brassieres do the best job of presenting my breasts.  I was motivated to write these comments this morning as I was appreciating how beautiful my breasts are when I put on one of my favorite brassieres.  It feels right to be held by the band around my chest and to have my breasts shaped and lifted by the thin material of the cups.  Clearly, though we are men, we too benefit from what manufacturers are giving us in these well-designed brassieres.  Having breasts is not a curse by any means.  It can be the source of delight and pleasure.  Welcome to the club.

Curse into a blessing.......

I remember in my youth my father telling me I was born deformed.  Rather traumatic for a young child. 

Teens were really hard with never-ending titty-twisters almost everyday at school.  

I grew up hating  my breasts and everything else about me including my very wide hips. 

Acceptance side of this website allowed me to realise that 'I am exactly the way God made me.'

45 years of braless under baggy shirts, dark colours,  and bib overalls finally ended. 

Now, like 42C, I enjoy the fit of a well built bra and sexy styles. I love my boobs, wide hips, and everything else about me. Nothing matches the feeling of putting on a nice well fitting bra in the morning everyday.

I had my annual teeth cleaning today.  Same hygienist as the last two years.  I wore a spaghetti strap uni-bra with a little insert pad to hide the nipples.  All went well.

I wear a bra from morning to night.  For me, it's all about comfort, as I walk several miles a day and have 27 stairs in my house.  Climbing stairs and walking up hill, is not a issue.  Going down is.  And the bra really helps my back.  I am trying to exercise my chest muscles, but my right shoulder surgery is making that painful.  I am down 71lbs and have a 34" waistline. And a 42C.

When fly fishing in Alaska for over 5 hours a day, I wear a back brace along with my bra.  Casting without a bra is painful.  This works for me.  With waders and rain gear that are now two sizes to big, no one notices.

  I have to say that I think it's great how we can share the joys of every day life while being comfortable wearing a supportive bra.  Life doesn't have to end with breast development, it continues if we allow it. 

  If needed and worn with confidence, every day life just goes on.

Women use a well fitting bra to enhance their shape and make themselves feel better, look better and feel better about them selves.

Why shouldn't we?

Yesterday I had a long conversation with a friend who is gay and who knows about my affection for brassieres.  He didn't have any judgments about it but also didn't quite understand what it was all about.  He's know some of my history but not all of it.  As I told him about it I spoke about this website and what a relief it is to talk about these things with other men whose bodies have changed.  He mentioned having taken medicine at some point in his life that carried the warning about breast development but it never happened to him.  I understand that... he reed thin, perhaps weighing about 110 pounds at five foot five inches.  He'd spoken about how difficult it has been for him to get support as an older gay man whose life partner died of cancer a few years ago.  He understood how being with men who'd developed breasts and who choose to wear brassieres would be a great relief.

We each have our own relationship to this journey.  For some men wearing a brassiere is utilitarian and nothing more.  For some of us the feminizing that comes with estrogen dominance is a blessing.  From that perspective breasts are not a problem and can be a pleasure.  Like most men my breasts are spread wide on my chest.  A brassiere with good side support and with an underwire frame pulls my breasts forward.  And remarkably, the unlined cups without any stitches shape me breasts.  THAT is a well-designed brassiere.  I understand padded cups both shape breasts and cover the nipples but I prefer what is called a minimizer.  The way I dress no one will see my nipples if they're erect.  Fortunately, my breasts have enough mass that they respond to the shaping of these unlined cups.  In other words, I'm very well served by the brassieres I wear and love the result... with no intention of flaunting this abundance but every intention of enjoying it.

I like soft cup bras with wide bands, wide straps, seamed cups and at least 3x3 hooks and eyes in the back. For this reason the Slovenian company Lisca manufactures some of my favourite bras. Some months ago my wife and I moved to another country. I didn't find a webshop who delivers to this country.

Thus I asked the company. The answer of a woman from their eCommerce Sales was: "Dear Mr. ... Thank you for your message and your interest in our Sabina, Mirelas, and Minca bra models. We are delighted that you would like to continue wearing our products even after your move."

I got the link to the shop. And then:

"If a particular model is currently unavailable, please contact us and we will be happy to check whether and when it will be available again.

Selling bras is their purpose. And they have absolutely no problem selling them to men who wear them.
