Hello, I had my surgery done 2 weeks ago. It was just a gland removal and no lipo. Post 10 days the doc removed the sutures as I was travelling back to Canada. And he put some surgical glue to keep it intact and put a gauge on top. After this couple of days later I noticed a drain and visited doctor and he said no infection and nothing to worry and just cleaned and provided gauges to apply as I clean them later. Today (14 days post surgery) I removed to clean up and noticed the healing is still delayed. I noticed little or half of my nipple is non existent and has only healing skin under. I’m in talks with my doc to know what’s up

My questions-
* does the entire nipple skin goes off or it will just stay like half with what’s left and rest is gonna be scar?
* do I need to be worried about nipple necrosis ?
* do I need to consult local doctor or a plastic surgeon or just continue putting the gauge till it heals? (What my doc advised after checking pics)
