The ministry pays for airfare?

The secretary at Dr.Fieldings office told me that the ministry will pay for my airfare? Has anyone heard of this benefit?

would the ministry pay for airfare if the services are available there? i remember hearing that somewhere that the flight has to be necessary, otherwise people would be gettin their vacations paid for by having surgery on the side...

I called the secretary, she said she was very sure that once everything was done (She emphasized everything) the ministry would pay for the majority of the airfare, and possibly the lodgings. She just said to keep all of my receipts.  
I don't have any more information and won't unless someone else figures it out.
